He has asked me to do the track with an eighties heavy ascent.
I have come up with this I hope you all like it.
Description : Headphones are recommended for a more immersive experience :P - - - A weary American soldier is walking through the remains of what used to be a small town in the middle east, only to rediscover the horrible reality that sometimes war can affect even the ones who have no part in it.

Description : This is for my friend Danke who can't sleep at night. Yes, heat, heat...I guess Africa is hotter, but don't let the title and intro as well, deceive you! This is not African music nor the imitation of it. It's just a picture of starry African sky at night, painted with my european musical sensibilities and some imagination. So this is for Danke in the first place and then maybe for anyone who would like to fall asleep.:)...
Good night!:)
Description : Dear Loopers...Let Ed and me take you to the world of yet another musical fantasy born out of our latest collab efforts. Ed provided basic structure of the track with ever solid rhythm section, tasty synths and vocal pads while I took
on a role of pretending to be multi-instrumentalist again by smuggling in some sweet strings, bulgarian flute, celtic harp,
unexpectedly blurry piano and this time a tiny bit of real live acoustic guitar...what an adventure for a vst/keyboard guy..:) As always
my sincere thanks to Ed not only for letting me enjoy his great musical company but also for still standing as one of the firm pillars of Looperman society !

Description : I went to the beach and set up my stereo recording mic under a gazebo near it (I apologize for some of the air gusts being recorded haha; we had a strong SE wind that day :P Tried my best to place it out of the wind); wanted to record myself playing live and do some cheesy roleplay in the process - wanted to make it feel like the listener was sitting there beside me. ** This is what the beach looks like: http://static.travel.usnews.com/images/destinations/80/south_padre_island_main.jpg **
Lo and behold, I'm about halfway through the song when my buddy Mark, a friend from college, heard me singing and decided to join me (he seems to never part with his guitar lol).
The expression on his face was that of confusion as to why I had my mic with me and a audio-capturing device, which I plugged into an outdoor electrical plug that the gazebo owners installed lol (I've done recordings like this before but didn't like the results; we messed up a little at the end but I was like meh it's not bad anyways.) but I'm glad he didn't say it out loud or it would have ruined the recording lol. Luckily, I was playing a song he and I wrote together some time ago, so he was able to just jump right in. He's a great guitar player.
Even though it was a little awkward at the end since we hadn't seen each other for like 4 months (you might be able to tell by the way I responded to his "thats so cool" comment haha), I think it turned out just fine. It was a lovely evening and the clouds were all poofy and happy. Lots of people were there too, though I made sure to sit far away from all of them. Ahh, it was a beautiful day. I'm glad I live by the ocean :P * Just kidding, I recorded this in my studio; though I do live close to the water, this was not recorded there :P I did everything, down to the wind blowing into the mic, except for the sound of water and the kids in the background. I got those sounds here: freesfx.co.uk/login/
The guitars and vocals were one-takes to give a more realistic feel. No pitch-correction or autotune. Just wanted to try making another soundscape (or whatever you want to call this :P) about what it's like to live by the ocean.

If anyone can share a thought about this, it would be really great. I hope you enjoy it if you do and like it then please leave me a comment.
Description : Glen Cloy is one of the glens of Antrim (Tumbleweed's county) in Northern Ireland. The little people, actualy fairies, populate all of them and they all have very old ghost stories that have been told for centuries (and still are)...This one is about Shaman of old and his journeys through the spiritual world...That sums up what Ed told me about the concept for our 7th (how convenient^^) collab work. The main core of the track is Ed's work and the original length was 5:18, but I wouldn't have been Orlando if I didn't tempt to compose my longest intro to date (3:10) to inject my own fantasies about little creatures of Glen Cloy (soft spot for spiritual world..hehe..). Other than that I also added some synths arrangements and vocal samples for the rest of the track and probably ruined it a bit..haha..but that's how collabs are sometimes..:)^^.....All my thanks to Ed...and Irish ghosts ofcourse...
Description : I hope you enjoy it if you do then please leave me a comment.

Description : Last time when I uploaded my track called "The Ring Of Saturn" many reviewers stated that it should belong under "ambient" category, since I tagged it as "cinematic"... so this led me to decision to give you the mother of all ambient pieces and here it is!:)Yet, it has something in common with the previous one....you won't need your sleeping pills... again..:)^^
Description : Guys, Can anyone please translate the words for me.
I appreciated if anyone can.
Many Thanks
hi. I just listened to a couple of your older tracks. this is very different from the usual stuff posted on here, especially from other vocalists. each piece sounds like entirely driven by your vocal work. very original style that isn't really sounding like anything I can hear in the modern mainstream, sometimes a bit weird but still I like it.
This little creation is very enjoyable. a fine combination of spoken word with elements of a proper song and background ambiances. very nice work.
Aah aah aah Anomaly,
Last time I heard you, you "belonged to the rain." This a great song, young lady and I am privileged to hear it. I'll bet you are a unique voice that should sing my song, I'm a Red Neck Girl currently posted with my 5 year old granddaughter at the mic.
Vic
Really cool intro, and good recording of the rain! The lyrics of this song really speak to me! The instrumental is perfect for the theme of the song! Really good work!
You did a great job on that song. I do understand not being able to sleep. I also do most of my recording at that time also.
That is so cool how u did this track. Amazing. Ur voice is beautiful. Would u want to sing on one of my slow beats?

Such a alluring voice. Works very well with this song. Reminds me of an old band named Psoas a friend of mine used to sing in. Pretty sure I'll have to download this for more easy listening later on. Thank you ever so much for your beautifully glorious talent. Guess I'll have to check out more of your tacks now.
This is awesome, every element fits perfectly.........
outstanding
I've been away for a while recooperating - much better now - friggin' carcinoma. Upon my return, you were on my top 5 artists to vist. You have not disappointed me. Brilliant track top to bottom - well done my dear !

You invoked Salome on me once, and listening to this I think I know how you felt.
A truly seductive song, beginning with your field recording. The music reflects the mood perfectly, and the rhythm is like the steady drops from the rain gutters. By the 32 minute mark, I feel like I'm the one melting in a gentle rain. How do you do that?
Added to faves.
Wow love this tune I have used the vocals you did on this here is my version https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/54749
I'm so glad I didn't hear this version you did first or think I may have ended up doing something around the same tempo.
love your version It's Great
Keep up the good Work
Girl I totally know how you feel! I am so moved by the rain and definitely moved by this song. I really like it.
Shojo
yes I DO!!!!! that's my rain!!!! cuz I recorded too and ent up with rain in my recording.
i wonder if we recorded the same drop? aw!!!!! how sweet it would be.
ah!!! girl you need your own DJ show where when the mood strikes you jam out with the artists you're gracing in rotation.
cuz i love to hear you sing, and i love to hear you talk. and you're mixin it up!!! this is my dream come true. where you tease me between singing and speaking. ah!!!!!!!!!!!
see now i'm just scared to come and visit your tracks because you're gonna excite me so much that i am going to say something fundamentally inappropriate in my riled excitedness.
ah beautiful sweet up bend there.
nice back and forth b/w the sing and say, again. wow!! it is sooooo interesting to hear how you are expressing yourself, and this is like ... SINCERELY .... all I could have asked for back when I was up all night thinking about you .... I am so proud of you, that was awesome.
for some reason, I'm craving french fries now. you've stirred my inner hunger. that's good vox make a man hungry.
cheers, Aj. cK. simbAAHHHHHHHHH purr.
Ah, Lady J - you are as always an inspiration. This is so cool hearing you take the reigns of the arrangement. Keep doing that!
Peace.
The rain track sounded awesome, I like the idea! You put this together very well, nice changes. Like your singing track and the spoken word track. Very relaxed feel to the music but the lyrics are a bit tense and on edge. Real nice job AJ!
Wayne
hey, first of, let me get my had on that rain sound, was recorded very well, it does not rain here in china like that, and plus, i am on the 5th floor, so i can't get drops sounds. also, tell, what microphone do u use? u sound so smooth on this one. really, i am listening to it at 3am here and i think it is the perfect time to do it. i can't sleep either but i have to.
Good work Aj! really
DextDee
Nice track, the rain recorded very well, I love the spoken word parts, really cool, the very end seemed a little out of pitch but other than that real nice job.
