Description : I used some drums called Santa Fe in EZ Drummer so this one has that southwest feel. Bass, electric guitars, drums with some singing. A song about a guy, down on his luck, living a tough life.

Hey Wayne, been busy lately so I've been off LM for a few weeks. Getting back, one of the first things I did was search your profile to see if you had a new track. And you did not disappoint!

As usual the playing was on point and so was the old-school production. I think my favorite aspect of this one was the lyrics though. They seem to convey the simple yet kinda oblique wisdom of a bygone age. "Here's the story of just another working class person. Hear it, and take whatever you can from it."

Lots of new material always being posted.

Just a quick idea, short. Sat on this one for a month or so, wasn't sure if it was the way I wanted it, still not.

    Thanks for stopping by Cam!

I had to look up who that was. I do recognize the band, am familiar with it.

    Would never have guessed him.

very nice man this awsome love your guitar work here dude if you like surf music get the squire jaguar diference between jazzmaster and jaguar is a lot short scale neck for one seymour duncan pickups more switches both surf guitars with floating bridge tremlo the tones are unreal you can get one for 360. new gears for music or spash out get fender jaguar any where from 450 to 2000

    Appreciate all the info!

I can't use those small guitars, I'm a big guy, long arms and big hands. A jazzmaster sounds nice but they have inherent problems at the bridge/tremolo. Playing a mando is a challenge, but it's very small.

    Thanks,

    Wayne

Yee ha - great stuff as usual, warm and bright and a great sound and the cool little guitar lead at the end there is the icing on the cake.

I'm trying to make a $500 guitar sound like a $3500 guitar, he. It gets the feeling across with enough twang.

    Take care!

18/10/2020: holy smoke I hadn't realised what a chaotic mess I had made of the mixing. Cleaned it up to my limited abilities and I guess I'll come back again to it later. Even more thanks for listening!

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : I wrote this song some time ago when I was living in Florida. It's even more true today.

Vocals by Arthur Granquist, guitar by the great Kevin Lysen, drums by Marc Karmatz, also the recording engineer.

The idea musically was to take some rock and some bluegrass elements, mash 'em up and see what happened.

Every day is a struggle to do better in a crazy world.

Description : Hello Loopies!!!

This song was supposed to be a Bedlam Kids track, but due to the low (none) interest of Pete on continuing that project, I'll upload the remaining tracks as instrumentals as soon as I can.

For now, here's a song written almost 7 months ago, it's called Simple Things.

Hope you enjoy it!!!
