A little self indulgent of me, tracks I have danced to, it's a remix of sorts, it's a fussion. I used a little bit of a track I consider one of the best ever released the artist was a megastar, I sent it to Maj for a listen, he liked the concept and mastered it for me. I appreciate the stars fans wont be happy, but hey this is my crazy style

Thanks for your listen Terry, Bowie worked on a friend's market stall at 17 in Camden. He's told me stories, they were friends for life. he is the bass guitarist in 'the only ones'. Real good friend with my actor brother and still does his own stuff my brother's also played keys for him, Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart too at a tribute concert in Scotland Bowie would have slammed a shot down and shook is arse of to this I'm sure he could move

    Interesting ideas here.
You have some serious highs going on with this one, might want to watch out for frequencies in the 4 to 5k range when you mix, they are a bit dangerous to ears.

This track was washed in distortion (reminds me of the experimentation I did back the day).

Overall, interesting direction. I can see you've been kinda spit-balling. I'm curious to see what it will sound like when your ideas fully converge.

Thanks for the listen and advice Doom, I still consider myself amateur and my learning is improving daily with the help of the guys here. I've been brave enough to sing create unusual fussions, and like a lot here use my own stuff. Yes I'll use loops its that idea that brought me to this. I'm happy with my progression. I've tackled fx and EQ PARAM etc, the sound frequencies levelling and compression are things I'm now playing with. Golden pieces of advice are a bonus to all who read, keep them coming. I think I'm safe to say as most I assume, I'm becoming my own biggest critic, I can't listen to mine without thinking, I should of this, I should of that. Your vid is great, the three girls, the dark animation to their faces :)) spooky

OOh, anything with a bit of Bowie will automatically draw me in lol...This is some serious creativeness here, the beat is kickingggg!!! and then some, yep it's what I call art of noise & that's not a bad thing either nope DJ's in the looper house. This is Live!!...Keep up the Good! Work, I like when people think outside the box especially those who make beats, gwan DS.

Thankyou Angel for you comment and listen, hope your good, it's very noisy I agree, and I also remember a band called art of noise they were class, I was a little unsure with using Bowie, he's a megastar and will always shine bright in the sky forever, I was trying to be creative, expecting some negatives about them bits, but really there's not many as weird and creative as Bowie himself, he could also dance his arse off, I'm sure he'd have a smile on his face and a glass of spirits in his hand.
Just listened to you latest, class as always Angel H :))

yeah you got me with the thin white duke, everytime i hear him i just think about his diet with red paprika and white pulver :) this is a track he would listen when he was in Berlin and just danced his ass off in the clubs. I love the mix in with 90s breakbeat. Your weirdness is getting huge :) fck on everything what we learned so far. your approach is a abstraction and fragmented work of the past 40 years of electronic pop culture.

Thanks Lui, I was really worried about using Bowie, he's such an icon, space oddity is one of the very best ever, he was a great dancer himself and would get down his own way so I think he would of had a smile on his face, I have a lot happening at the moment preparing for my interview next week new opening and challenge, they know and approached me. I've got a few dance projects happening I'm working with a professional on that side he works with the BBC and ITV, we got smoke machines, lighting everything, set it all up in the street. I've still not danced to any of the tracks you guys do maybe this project is a time to try. I had a few different track I was willing to try and may do something similar with Gary Newman, Newcleus, jam on it kraftwerk right up my street just club it all together and bang it out, keep that dance floor pact tight

Thanks Rita, the volume on mine was a little louder, Maj balanced it out better, give it more umph levelled the sounds compressed etc things I may still be not hearing myself it sounds like I had in my head which is great and yes there is a massive energy in the track. I could go all day when I was young, I'm now blowing out my arse after 5 mins now.

Really pleased you thought that Tom, I'm chuffed because I would dance to it and that is a djs job getting you dancing, if they don't they've failed, the times I've seen full dance floors empty on a poor DJ who tries to change things when the time is wrong to do so

Hey Chris when I was young my breaking and crazy legs were rapid, the popping is easier now, but I'm back in full training with respect the breaking, it's just courage at my age it's scary throwing yourself about doing spins and freezes, get it wrong it hurts. I used to walk across floors to the opening of play at your own risk, point to a dancer point to the floor and straight into a six step, reverse it, into a baby freeze chair, twist to an air chair, as my leg comes down my arm comes up with the middle finger pointing at my opponent, absolute time of my life.

Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!
***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : The answer to Close Encounters is Hymn Of The Pleiades. This is a strictly groove track where the elements of ambient meets electronic funk and Hip Hop. Track was recorded, mixed and mastered using Mixcraft Pro Studio 6 software. Results were achieved by using a FATA Studio 90 MIDI keyboard ran through a E-MU Proteus 2000 sound module, - for the phat funky bass synth. I also used a KORG O5R/W sound module for the retro lead synth parts and ambient sound pads.
I utilized what was essentially a old school Hip Hop drum track, arranged and beefed it up for that extra umh! I greatly appreciate all the positive feedback the track has garnered thus far. Keep listening and by all means, your comments are much welcomed... thanks.
