pretty chilled at times and flows nicely; especially with the tom fills; and the slayer style guitar was a nice solo, too. well done.

Nice drum work. I'm liking the complex little fills. The mid-scooped rhythm guitar coming in was a nice surprise. I goes all "engines of creation" about 2:30 deep.
You and your guitar teasers. It's ok to take up 45 sec in a 4 min song :D
I like all the extra percussion towards the end. Percussion and drums are on point all the way through.

    Nice mix, nice work.

Hah hah guitar teasers, ¨leave em wanting more.¨ (P.T. Barnum)
thanks for the nice comments on the percussion.

    What's up Cru,

That funky beat @ the intro has me pretty messed up.
I thought I was the only one who liked unconventional
Rhythms. The changes are killin me. You didn't have to wait till Halloween to post this. I enjoyed this track from beginning to end.
    No disappointment/FAIL :-)

Great track. A fav for sure.

I love unconventional Rhythms. Just as I love me a 4 by 4 beat.

Dark thought provoking piece Steven, there is light at the end of the tunnel, the drums are lit,the melodies are delicate yet powerful and there's big spaces to let your mind wander the guitar is so on point and the outro was real dark, that scream, spookily good. Nice to see another show so diversity and highlight Halloween well done mate

Thanks, Mate, I was trying to incorporate rock and metal drums with trap and pleasant but dark pads and melodies.

Hola Stevens, Buena pista para Halloween, muy acertada, con un sonido que te envuelve hasta atraparte con esas guitarras eléctricas. Me encanta el ambiente de suspense. Buena melodía de piano al final. Que tengas un buen día compañero. Paz y salud.

I enjoyed making this one. Dark, as most of my songs are. But with a tint of hope. I appreciate the acknowledgment of the guitars. I like the contrast. I like adding space in the mix. Itś important to me to give the listener a sense of a journey musically and esoterically. Thanks for your kind words mate.

Description : The tangled skein of life permeates all creation, binding the known to the unknown. This track, in its own subtle way, attempts to convey that.

Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!

Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : The answer to Close Encounters is Hymn Of The Pleiades. This is a strictly groove track where the elements of ambient meets electronic funk and Hip Hop. Track was recorded, mixed and mastered using Mixcraft Pro Studio 6 software. Results were achieved by using a FATA Studio 90 MIDI keyboard ran through a E-MU Proteus 2000 sound module, - for the phat funky bass synth. I also used a KORG O5R/W sound module for the retro lead synth parts and ambient sound pads.
I utilized what was essentially a old school Hip Hop drum track, arranged and beefed it up for that extra umh! I greatly appreciate all the positive feedback the track has garnered thus far. Keep listening and by all means, your comments are much welcomed... thanks.
