has a terrific theatricality — beautiful, resonant, swinging. that voice sounds like david lynch!

Nice track my friend, different, but we like different, the spoken word in tracks is something I like, there's a depth in them, bit of Bas Llermann going on there. Great job.

I really like the saw synths. The beat is really laid back and easygoing

Were you going for a funky sound with the guitar in the background?
Just wanted to know if you did on purpose or just what im getting. Anyways, good job!

Hey - I cant actually remember how I got the sounds now to be honest and my laptop is off for repair so I cant access my daw or vst instruments atm to tell you. I know I was using Glitch on this track which is why you get the stretching of pitch at some points - I think it was mostly synths - like Vital and Helix and Hybrid on the other vst tracks. Ive just taken to plugging in my guitar on more recent experiments and treating it with ovox, harmoniser h910a and other effects but I dont think I did for this one
Thanks for listening and the feedback - much appreciated

So Good, great use of space and VST in this. Sounds Amazing Mate. Bowie and Roxy, Sheffield synth scene, and prince are my go-to artists for my early inspiration and study. I see you have a love of Jazz. Mike Stern, Chick Corea, Spyro Gyra, Level42, Herbie, Stanley Jordan, etc, etc are my listens. I used to occasionally go to the Bluenote in NYC. I also studied classically and have a liking for post-minimalism and Atonal. And I put all of that into electronic music. You, my friend, understand the engineering part well, and your usage of VSTś shows it. I look forward to hearing your compositions.

It's fascinating what one can do with an MPC. I've been trying to get a hold of one to complete my eurorack set up. Amazing production, mix and arrangement is stellar. So nice to make your acquaintance pseudoble, I am looking forward to hearing more of your music. Faved.

i can taste it man, you're on fire. Hey I just did a wee number on your winter lake track, was going to run it past you first but couldn't resist whacking it up here. Let me know if you want me to pull it! Hopefully it does that track justice and isn't too naff. All the best, Zoot

    Thanks Chris

I'll have a listen - Im not precious about anything Ive made - it's great to have collaborators and to share and build on ideas and to be part of a community interested in working in a creative and open way ... in my line of work if we have safety we can be open and honest ... then we can build trust and respect ... then we can communicate / understand better and then we can have a better relationship - thanks for building on my efforts

    Hello pseudoble,

I like tracks with spoken word on top of interesting music.
The listener has to really listen to get the full effect of what
is going on. It's unfortunate that there isn't more accapellas that tell a worthwhile story. I like this track, I've got to check out some of the other tracks you've posted.
    Great track.

Me gusta como suena. Buena mezcla y buena voz narrativa. Bien conjuntado ambos. Consigues un buen ambiente de expectativa. Bien hecho amigo pseudoble. Salud y suerte para todos.

Nice work and nice experimenting cant beat a bit of experimentation :)

    Reply by pseudoble

Thanks for your ears - the few minutes of end results is still very hit and miss. To experiment though is the best way to find out what does and (perhaps especially) doesn't work!

Description : Black and blue confession of a placebo recording session. Paranoia and repression - relief, exhilaration... it's all in there. Long uphill ride.

This is my first serious recording of the Music Man CA34 bass we got (Bowie)... and I used my modular synth patched as an envelope filter for the bass in parts. Also it has remnants of a live looping session with my 2xKawa circuit bent drum box and a Digitech Jamman Stereo Pedal. Even did some recording with my Baldwin Fanfare organ after installing individual line outs for all the channels. And yes I sang on it.

This track is something some people may expect beens as its glitchy but I've been messing alot with hip hop breaks...cutting them up..also toying with the 808 trap loops and mixing them up with my usually glitchy elements...

hopefully it sounds good

Description : My first Glitch-Hop track. I found some creepy/eery ambient and atmosphere loops to fit the mood. I was happy with it at first... But once I started to listen to it more, I realized it could've been better. Oh well, what artist hasn't had that thought?
