Reminds me of Paul Oakenfold. But your ending is abrupt for the kind of Hybrid (Band) Breakbeat style piece your making. That's easy to fix though. In fact most skilled DJ wizards on the decks could fix the ending if playing this in a set but really that should be your job.

Hi Nesmanga, thanks for taking the time to comment. I am a fan of Paul Oakenfold. Some of my first forays Listening into post-acid trance were the essential mixes on CD and MIX-MAG Cdś imported from the U.K. overseas in NY. Sometimes when I am making music, I use a more visual approach to the song, especially a song like this, I am not always thinking about the DJ but the tone of the tune, in this case, Piet Mondrian, who was a Dutch artist who has a lot of short rectangles, trapezoids and other odd geometric sharp objects that are filled in by only the 3 primary colors and or black or white in his artwork. I this particular piece I wanted that sharp ending (which you won't hear in my other work. for 2 reasons. 1. It fits the narrative, 2. I may pair it with a quieter piece of music in the future. But I do appreciate your concern listening from a DJ point of view and is noted. And it is well appreciated that you took the time to listen and give your thoughts, they are always welcome in these parts.
    have a great day

Impresionante la entrada, con una multitud de cambios bien perpetrados, y esa guitarra al final, potente y con fuerza. Mezcla clara y perfecta. Enorme tema amigo crucethus, me encanta como suena. Que tengas un gran dia.

Great Momentum and smooth transition with lots of variety across the track (something I always struggle with, you know finding the right balance between repetition and novelty, congruence and incongruence, structure) The quiet part before the final phrase is maybe a tad too quiet to my old ears.

    Reply by crucethus

Good Ears. I say that as I listen to this in the car and on other devices the missing element is that bass line solo being too low in the mix. So that would be my correction and thank you for having the ears to hear that mate. 100% correct! And thats why i put my sounds hera, for the unobjective opinions of good musicians. so Thanks.

    Hey Doc,
I love the Jean-Michel Jarre intro it really builds the vibe for the great track.
As Leon said” very creative stuff, but that's something to expect from the master of your caliber.”
    Great track well done mate.

Nice bass indeed after i managed to take my head out the gutter just in time thanks for the share

This world is faulty, but a perfect world would be boring and contrite. there is always something more, you just have to know the right people to find it mnate!

love the Figaro at the end i would almost say had a jimi feel at the end. lovely sounding bass as well bass never gets enough spot light. And of course the transitions simply a delight to listen to the cleanly cross over dam good and enjoyable.

    Reply by crucethus

Aye Mate, I think the bass is under-utilized in solo aspects sometimes. This bass line incorporation was sort of influenced in spirit by a Japanese band that put this tune out a few years back, but it's a kick-ass rock tune with a bass solo.
How to make transitions smooth as silk is your next task. took me a while to get that one.

Description : This is my effort for Static Nomads thread "make a track in the style of another looper"
I chose Mr Funktastic because he's got so many cool loops. I just pinched one of his funky basslines and built around it. It's not as good as Joe does it but hey! It was fun to do something a little different from usual.

All started with a Future Bass Drum with Reverb at 140 BPM. It sound like Dubstep and then all go fast. A very Deep Synth Flute with Reverb as Bass. Hig Synth for the Melody. High Flute with Reverb for other. And High Wobbling Synth with stereo Phaser. Many Crazy Snares and lite Stick Hits as Percussion with Reverb. End a Pad with the same Stereo Phaser effect. Yeah thats it. I work 4 Hours at this Track. Sounds Like Future Bass or Dubstep with a lite Happy EDM touch. Please leave some Feedback. Which genre is this? Whats good , Whats Bad? You know what I mean :D

Description : BRICS, the new economic powerhouse of emerging nations Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. In the struggle for economic dominance will cooperation prevail regarding climate change and other issues of global importance or will it be business as usual?

This track is a heavily sampled break beat melange featuring Russian vocalist Doctyabrev and excerpts of speeches in languages of the other three countries including Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, and Marina Silva of Brazil. There's a whiff of Maceo's "Cross the Tracks" in there too.

Much thanks to all the Looperman contributors including: Doctyabrev, fanto8bc, djnab, blueskies, buffalonugaluss, megapaul, and 7venth12. 100 bpm, key of E.

Description : I wasn't going to upload this because it's a headphone mix. I'm moving house so the sound system is packed but i figured what the hell, I'll edit it later if it sounds like crap. Anyway, it's mainly synths with a few loops chucked in for good measure.

Description : Hi guys!
Just wanted to take a look at the wave form here on Looperman it still a brick? This is just the second assignment for the Ableton Live course (you can read about it in the forums). Having issues with the compression, clipping and distortion.
Edit2: Made an update and took away some audio effects and reduced others. Maybe it's sounding a little clearer now. Also added some midi tracks and rearranged the mix a bit.

Could this be called Breakbeat? Should I develope the bass line and/or add some more drums? I Think I like this song, it's really weird. =)
