Description : Vocals, lyrics and keyboards by myself. Bass/drum loops psychotropic circle and planet jazz. Still getting things up and running after having computer issues but went back and had a listen to this and thought it still sounded half decent. Remixed and remastered a little.

Hi Mackman! Thanks for the listen. Yeah, i see anything with the jazz tag I tend to check it out. Bit of a sea of trap and rap etc. on here eh. I don't mind that stuff but i like variety and different sounds. cheers zoot.

You are so right to put your voice on your productions.
if i could i would i'm a little tired of making tracks that are still instrumentals.
In any case another coolsong, that sounds good on my speakers

thanks very much. i could quite enjoy just singing on other people's tracks but you know how it is, finding the time to write lyrics is difficult, plus I'm not that confident with the quality of my singing!

Woo - you are well ahead of me on all fronts - very nice stuff - going to take me a while to work through all these tunes but I this one is really nice - I put a few of my recent experiments on soundcloud - have you got one for you stuff?

Thanks mate, I'm definitely no expert on the production side of things but just keep trying to get better whenever I get the chance. And no, I only put stuff on here. Just a hobby, or rather an obsession:)

Bass is excellent. Seems like a long introduction, but why not. Definitely a funky feel, with the whispering and the fingerstyle on the bass, and the syncopated snare pops.

    Nice work.

Bravo, really loving the music and vox. At times it reminds of Jamoraqui. Killer tune my friend, wish I had my guitar up and running, and jam to this. Whatever happened to PlanetJazzBass. You don't have to answer, just asking myself. Stellar job mate, faved.

Is there such a thing as Tropical Jazz? You have incorporated the sounds of Nigeria,Kiwi and also Canada via Robbie Robertson in some ways.

Good work my friend. Feel there are some jazz elements in here as well. Not that I'm an expert on jazz - I'm definitely not lol. Reading the other comment about the vocals, I can see why you've tried to make them less prominent for the whispering effect. Sounds just about right to me but suppose it depends on personal opinion.

Thank you. I feel the older I get the more time I have for jazz, and less for 'pop'. I kept the vox as they were. They are quiet but still there to be heard if you want to listen, so I'm happy with that.

Oh yeah, great sound and arrangement. The lyrics are brilliant and match the music perfectly. That flute at the end ... wonderful. To me this is a masterpiece.

Very kind words thank you. The lyrics come mostly from a poem I wrote after scattering the ashes of one of my oldest friends at his favorite river. A crazy kayaker who died in a flash flood in switzerland years ago.

There's also a Matrix sample in there.
