My pillows knows that was the tune i was on about but i must of imagined the guitar bit haha.

anyway elecro disco funk if it aint a genre then you have it unusual tune from you in a way but still very interesting and enjoyable.

your good i dont know if you meant it with the comment about 55 tracks and why you wanted to hear a certain part in i think guitars but it took me a couple of weeks to ponder over that thought till i think i got it ill explain better in a few days time if you did mean it that way your clever lol.
ill listen to this song later im a tad busy with my breakthrough cheers man

¨ i dont know if you meant it with the comment about 55" . Yep, I meant it. this tune hovers around 48 tracks. Not sure of the Guitar thought though. It´s more about the percussion that takes up a lot of tracks, and small nuances that move the track forward. Sort of what Tony Visconti said about the tambourine and the metallic sounds he added at the end of ¨heroes¨. it just adds a new dimension to the listener's ears. Helps move the song along.
It's the whole of the parts that make the sum. But be subtle about it. you don't need to hear each part individually all the time. it took me a few years to get to that level of mixing. A famous quote from Roxy music Guitarist Phil Manzanera. "I know iḿ on the track, but I cannot hear my playing¨ when refering to his work on Bryan Ferry´s solo tunes.. Gull Guitar On Don't Want To Know, Atmos Guitar On Which Way To Turn. So it´s all about the song, not the musical phrases.

Bloody brilliant. May not belong in any category but I felt it belonged in my head! For some reason kinda reminded me of Can, maybe just the rythms.

    Yo Steven,
Don't know if you're like me but I like to throw off The Listener in the beginning and you threw me off when the beat kicked in nice really sweet good job! That vox or chant beatbox is cool

So interesting story, I had no direction on this song when I started it.I had just finished doing a bizarre tune using some sound samples from the Vlogger channel ¨Abroad in Japan¨ and I was playing around with some classic synth sounds. and some vst effects and after about a minute I was like, where shall I go with this. So I added the beat and a sinister bassline. And it to me just sounds like a creepy disco tune. I was channeling Ferry, Bowie and Devo all in the same tune.

Description : This is only a snippet of a little thing I threw together today. It features the lead vocal of our own Janis71. I have added 3 harmonies to her original loop. Kinda sounds Disco-y. I am very new to audio mixing, and hence am only stabbing in the dark here.

Description : I have Re-Mastered the song after a few comments. I have put the guitar forwards more. Enhanced the vocals and boosted the mid range. Boosted the volume as well. I hope! Please comment as I have tried really hard to get this right. Vocals by Patricia Edwards. They are so good I just had to funk them up. Not a spelling mistake folks lol.

Description : This is a kind of funk-disco-big band number that will make you think of the 70s and 80s, if you're old enough. It has all those vintage sounds so popular in this genre. I tried to maintain the sounds of the time while still enabling some updating. Even if you had never liked disco, give this one a try. It may surprise you.

Description : Wanted to create a Kraftwerk meets Disco meets minimal track. The result? Lo-fi goodness :) Drums and percussion are programmed except for the 1 fill. Synth are combined loops and MIDI. Comments welcome as per usual. *NEW UPDATE* I edited the ending of this track. Some suggested the final section didn't fit with the rest of the track. At first I left it but then I agreed that it didnt seem to fit.
