Description : A Bob Dylan cover. Probably as relevant today as it was when it was written. I had to bounce it down to 256 kbps mp3.

What's your opinion on this version?

I think BF is one of the most underrated performers and writers of his time. The glam and glitz along with some great songs influenced me as a kid in jr. high school. We did Lets Stick Together and Love is the Drug in my band, great songs, tricky to figure out and play.

I think the way he did it is pure BF, it's cool and honestly he is just bringing himself to the party, so to speak. Shorter version but radio would appreciate a shorter version back then.

    Thanks for the link man!

Very clean. At first I thought it had looped, but nope, it's just a gent and his guitar. :-) Simple and relevant! Enjoyed.

Thanks a lot, I love singing the words of a poet.

    Take care and be safe!

I could have gone full tilt with the Bob-isms and how he sings, slurrrring his weeeerrrrds but I held back and only did a few. I'll save that version for karaoke after a few frosty pops! he

Shouts to Bob and you also for recreating this. Love the message, nice work.

My favorite songs are the simplest and this one's a 3 chord gem. He's a poet and his words ring true today and to me it's the signature of a great songwriter.

I ran into the video on you tube yesterday and so I recorded it. Then I realized it was about 50 bpm too slow so I redid it a few hours ago at a proper speed. Came out better so I guess it all worked out.

A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall by Bob Dylan

Oh, where have you been, my blue-eyed son?
And where have you been, my darling young one?

I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I walked and I crawled on six crooked highways
I've stepped in the middle of seven burning forests
I've been out in front of a dozen dead oceans
I've been ten thousand miles in the mouth of a graveyard

And it's hard, it's a hard, it's hard, it's a hard
It's a hard rain's that's gonna fall

Oh, what did you see my blue-eyed son?
And what did you see my darling young one?

I saw a newborn baby with wild wolves around it
Saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on it
I saw a black branch with blood that kept drippin'
I saw a room full of men with their hammers bleedin'
I saw a white ladder all covered with water
I saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all broken
I saw guns and sharp swords in the hands of young children

And it's hard, and it's hard, it's a hard, it's a hard
It's a hard rain that's gonna fall

And what did you hear my blue-eyed son?
And what did you hear my darling young one?

I heard the sound of thunder that roared out a warning
I heard the roar of a wave that could drown the whole world
I heard 100 drummers who's hands were ablazin'
I heard 10,000 whispering and nobody listenin'
I heard one person starve I heard many people laughing
I heard the song of a poet who died in the gutter
I heard the sound of a clown who cried in the alley

And it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard
It'a a hard rain that's gonna fall

Who did you meet my blue-eyed son?
Who did you meet my darling young one?

I met a white man who walked a black dog
I met a young woman who's body was burning
I met a young girl she gave me a rainbow
I met one young man who was wounded in love
And I met another man who was wounded in hatred

It's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard
It'a a hard rain that's gonna fall

And what will you do now my blue eyed son
And what'll you do now my darlin young one

I'm going back out before the rain starts a falling
I will walk to the depths of the deepest dark forest
Where the people are many and their hands are all empty
Where their pellets of poison they're flooding our waters
Where the home in the valley meets the damp dirty prison
And the executioners face is always well hidden
Where hunger is ugly souls are forgotten
Where black is the color where none is the number
And I'll tell it and speak it and think it and breath it
And reflect from the mountains so all souls can see it
And I'll stand on the ocean until I start sinking
And I'll know my song well before I start singing

And it's hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard
It'a a hard rain's gonna fall

Description : I had a lot of fun recording my last folk song, so I thought I'd take a stab at recording another one. This time I limited myself to 2 for all my vocals and instruments (guitar, piano, ukulele and organ). Enjoy the song and leave a comment letting me know your thoughts :)

Description : A song about what's happening in my trees outside my house. A finger snap loop, a mandolin loop and a cabasa loop were used that I uploaded here a while ago. Acoustic guitar, bass, some singing and some piano.

A -drum ´n chill folk song-. A kind of hippie music in colorful garb of the modern era.
At the end of the track there is a bonus.
Something in the way of bonfire music.

Description : This is a country/folk track in a genre I don't do much, so I thought I'd give it a go. It also has some instruments I don't use much, namely the banjo, mandolin and fiddle. I got the title from a movie I saw a few months ago. Hope you enjoy, Scott.

Description : Kindofa '60s work song. Another song from my collab with Sunny War. This is the first song on our album HELP which we should get done this month. This song started with looperman-l-0498019-0072501-tumbleweed-90-g-slow-train-rhythm, a great rhythm guitar riff; the song just emerged out of it without effort. Props to Tumbleweed and his great guitar loops which I have often used. Then there were three other loops, drum, piano and lead guitar. Sunny replaced the guitar loops with her acoustic picking, using Tumbleweed's loop as the inspiration. The drum and piano loops remain: looperman-l-1703213-0101854-deathsquadktown-1994-inspired-hip-hop-drum-beat 90, looperman-l-0592478-0101770-designedimpression-piano-loop-will-power-94 g. Thank you, loopers! Feedback please!

Description : Totally different story here as I wondered if I manage to capture the real feel of the genuine folk music which I love as much as the electronic one. I also added some classical twist like oboe or short cellos arpeggio. Very basic arrangement though, still feel more confident with pure electronic sounds.
