    Thanks Robbie!

My new Martin D10 Sapele is a nice guitar, not an expensive one but made for the working musician and reasonably priced.

It can be depressing in what is going on with peoples denial of reality, and there lack of respect for each others existence and well being. But this has happened before, and will sadly happen again as we never ever learn as a species and just keep repeating the same mistakes of our previous generations while slowly inching forwards as a society as a whole. Good tune though ;-)

this could be straight off an alan lomax reel. solid, man. topical, timeless, true blue. i wish i could play this for my governor here in michigan, she’d be down with it. thanks for keeping on, Wayne!

Alan Lomax, damn, you are diggin' deep with that reference. Some interesting audible documents he captured. Thankfully.

Man, what is going on there in your state is unbelievable, shocking. The enabler-in-chief needs to go. Plus I see that a local sheriff is a part of it too. Crazy, crazy, crazy.

I was watching a news report about the laws regarding poll watchers. They need certification to be there, they can't utter a word to a single voter and the list goes on, it's amazing what the restrictions are. There will be many arrests on voting day.

Stay safe, stand by, stay tuned in

I miss going to see live music the most. I live in a great part of town within walking distance of a few handfuls of bars and restaurants with bands and solo performers every night and day of the week. I miss my friends. I miss the beach and all those bikinis too!!

Well my singing sure isn't my strong point but I make due. And actually, my guitar playing isn't my strong point either, he. Something quick I threw together to release some frustration from all that is going on with a fake president and covid in my world.

    Thanks pp!

The leaders have let us down, all around the world, except for a few countries that have done well thru this. Many of my fellow countrymen and women refuse to be part of the solution and refuse to help out in this serious situation. I miss patriotism and the life I had.

words and music by Wayne the Humps

I'm not living anymore
I'm just not living anymore
You've gone ruined everything
Gone and ruined everything
I'm not living anymore

When will it end
Oh, I want it to end
But I am not living anymore
I'm just not living anymore

Am I not safe here anymore
Even when I'm in bed behind a locked door
The guns now the covid, militias, bad police
Me, I'm not safe here anymore

I've had enough
Of all of this stuff

It's time to rely on each more
Let's help one another a little more
I don't want to be shot walking to the store
I just can't take this anymore

Description : My friend, fellow musician, and all around great guy Mark Ratcliffe approached me about doing a blues tune and I jumped at the chance to work with Mark again. He's got a great voice for the blues....I once described it as a mixture of gin, cigarette smoke, and ministry. He sings the blues like he's been there and that is the way it should be done.

This tune sounds like a live we were there with Muddy Waters and the boys and I love the feel of this one. Mark Ratcliffe - vocals, lyrics, lead guitar, drums, bass, harmonica. Barry Morgan - rhythm guitars, organ, horns. No animals or cops were harmed in the production of this. A huge thanks to Mark for providing the talent (he also mixed and mastered it). I hope you all enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it.

Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!

Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.

Enjoy and download away.

Description : Cosmic Eastern chillout atmospheric shuffle blues with loads of bluesy/Eastern electric guitar playing and warm sub bass (the same synth patch I've used in about 20 tracks). No drum loops and just two programmed acoustic kits - probably the simplest drum setup I've ever used. One day I hope to make a track containing only one drum kit. Also: a few female vocal samples (including a heavily timestretched one), one section of bass guitar, a few sample-based string instruments, a few notes of organ and two synth pad instruments. So, quite a minimal instrument lineup for me. It goes uptempo around 4:31 into a grooving, stomping bit of shuffle blues and I wonder if I should have brought this section back at the end for a triumphant finale. But I'm trying hard these days not to make things too long and this is already a decent length. Also contains some darker, Eastern sections but nothing too dark. Have a listen and leave me some interesting feedback - the more detail, the better.
