I like the Original, But I love what you did with this. Awesome pads. Tempo reduction was the right idea, turned it from being Frantic to having gravitas. That transition at 3:56 was epic. Unlike Neomorphus Iḿ OK with that ending, itś very ominous. Overall Great Work.

Checking this out during my lunch hour at work. Nice production on this man.

CinCoCent's original track is cool but this is a good example of how something already good can be made better with some refinement and a different approach to structure and arrangement. This is what pro sound engineers get paid $ by artists and record labels to do. And then the artists and record labels make the BIG $ from it. I really like everything you've done especially with the tempo adjustment which completely changes the dynamics. I notice a lot of added fills and modifications on placement. Overall, great work but I think a few items could still be improved. I notice the vocal cutoffs are very abrupt, maybe a bit of reverb or even some slight delay would sound better. And of course the ending is the weakest link of the track. It needs to run off a little more if your fading. What do you think dropping off the music there and using a few bars of the female "uh-oh vox as the outtro? Just an idea.

Anyhow, I dig it bro. 9.95 out of ten from me.

Thanks for the feedback. I mixed 21 loops, so after a while I just said "good enough,"
I really don't like spending more than a few hrs on a track or I could've refined it more. I have to draw the line or perfectionism will happen, and I will never finish, start sidechaining everything, and end up with 100 tracks.
You are right about the vocal cutoffs, some of the loops had noise in them and some clicking a popping. I'm winging it with the loops and structure, so I doubt I will revisit this one again.
I'll take 9.95 out of 10 any day, thanks again for listening.

Thanks, I was wanting to remix a track of yours for a while, add some "structure" to your free-form jams, without taking the free-form feel away.
I went through the beginning of the list of loops I downloaded when I first joined this site, picked some winners, and mixed em up.
Thanks for the material, it was a lot of fun.

Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!
***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : The answer to Close Encounters is Hymn Of The Pleiades. This is a strictly groove track where the elements of ambient meets electronic funk and Hip Hop. Track was recorded, mixed and mastered using Mixcraft Pro Studio 6 software. Results were achieved by using a FATA Studio 90 MIDI keyboard ran through a E-MU Proteus 2000 sound module, - for the phat funky bass synth. I also used a KORG O5R/W sound module for the retro lead synth parts and ambient sound pads.
I utilized what was essentially a old school Hip Hop drum track, arranged and beefed it up for that extra umh! I greatly appreciate all the positive feedback the track has garnered thus far. Keep listening and by all means, your comments are much welcomed... thanks.
