Another great sounding track. I remember D&B sounding cool back in the day, but then I went full death metal for years. Your tracks are making me want to dabble in even more genres (I already went way out of my comfort zone with funk, and
    afrobeat/dancehall).
Keep up the inspiring work, looking forward to hearing more.

    Greetings, Mr. C.

I did listen to the track and the review. That's pretty damned cool.
I never really noticed, until recently, the similarities between you and Nomad's work. They aren't like mirror images, but a lot of the subtleties are there. Obviously, yours aren't as long as his...and you are still making music.
I looked up 5_f55 and all I got was results on DNA research. Heh. I don't think that's the same thing. The guys on the podcast had me intrigued with his work.
Anyhow, Thanks for sharing that little look into Crucethus' past. That was pretty neat to see, and hear.

    Take care.

It's really cool to hear a DNB song with a house/acid touch. The arpeggio at 1:33 sounds awesome. The development and progression is great. This track is entirely unpredictable. Great track.

Very cool track! I like the stereo image here, lots happening back and forth. Cool sound textures and builds! Forgive me if I don't have a good grasp on this genre so maybe my next comments are totally not on point...to my ears though it kind of sounds like two separate tracks (and maybe that's the point I'm not sure). In other words, it sounds like you are building up the first part after the intro and then you break it down, perhaps too quickly? I felt like I was just getting used to your sound selections and I kind of wanted to hear a little more first before having it yanked away if that makes sense. :) This 2 tracks comment may also just be because I'm coming at it with totally virgin ears. Perhaps after a few listens it melds together more. And now to come full circle, maybe that's a good thing. Sorry for rambling on haha. Bottom line is I like what you made. :)

Hey Todd. So Yes this tune follows some rules of D&B where it should build, be intense and then drop down only to be rebuilt again. Like PT Barnum said. ¨always leave them wanting more¨
    Thanks for Playing!

Yup. We have a winner folks!

This is a little different for you, but it's still drenched with Crucethus signature sound. That certain...je ne sais quoi.

The production quality on this is top notch, man. It's crystal clear, wide open, and sharp as a razor. Beautifully done.

Nice use of the Hovers. They are present, but not domineering like so many other D-n-B tracks. You can definitely hear your house influence. Probably because I know that's in your wheelhouse. But, if I didn't know, it would skate right on by.

I like it, man. I like the direction you've moved with it. Keep it up, I'm curious to hear what's next!

    Take care, mister.
    Aaron.

Oh Boy, Where do I begin. So Back in the day I made this song around 2001-2002 called Sensuality.
    https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=716318
I put it on the Old Mp3.com and it exploded.
So It got me my first Internet Radio review online of this song.
A cool bunch of guys Called Integrated Arts, broadcasting out of the University of Arizona.
David Boosarama was one of the DJ´s and an all around cool guy who spun some amazing D&B on this station. They also had an outfit called Phrygia on the old MP3.com and I highly suggest you look them up. I was introduceed to Autechre and Muslim Gauze as well as some amazing strange and creative elctronic music. So I am super familiar with the genre, but do not always make D&B tunes or if I do share them online.
This imparticular tune starts off with a typical D&B drum cadence. Then I bring it all down dramatically to a sinister pad and slowly bring in some percussion. Then as you rightly point out. My house instincts came in to play. Since this song is 165bpm, A House drum beat sounds sick at that BPM range, so I used that as well as some cool VST effects and square wave bass lines. I am on vacation this week so I have some time to play around.
Here is the link to the review of that song so many years ago. Somewhere I have a Sony Mini Disc (i´m old) of that whole show and it´s music I streamed that day off my Windowns 98 computer using my Creative Labs Sound Card. Lol

Description : The track was completely made today from the scratch as a part of comptetition with myself. I have a bad looping syndrome (aka making 20-secodn loops) and it's nearly impossible for me to create a whole track, so I decided to finish at least one thing...

Description : Before I start, I'd just like to thank all of the wonderful community members who help me beat my creative block with their advice on my other track. Not only was I able to beat it, but I was also able to gain a little more creative ideas. This will be the first track with a background story. This track takes place in Las Vegas Nevada. A man name John, is an ex drug addict and finds himself playing the slots. When he comes across this blue synthetic drug, just sitting in between two of the slot machines. Not being able to resist, he opens the bag and takes a huge hit. John's body instantly reacts to the drug, causing him to go into full on high mode. John starts kicking the machine he is at, throwing chairs at the machine causing sparks to erupt, evidently finding himself practically burning the casino down. John continues his "high" on the Las Vegas strip. Doing everything from knocking old women down to flashing at the police. Eventually causing John to get surrounded by cops, almost exactly when he starts coming out of his high. As the cops has John surrounded with his hands in the sky, John realizes he has some more drugs left, hanging out of his sleeve, he quickly sniffs the entire packet, causing time to slow down for John. John kicks the garbage on the right of him, hitting on of the three cops right the face. The other two cops then shoots at John, John has an instant reflex action and dodges both of the cops bullets. Before, taking them both down and finally doing some awesome parkour, on his way to his hotel room, to dodge other police. John eventually makes it home, sits on his couch smokes a joint and calls it a night.
