Description : The world is quiet.
So many voices will no longer be heard.
How long will it take to get used to The loud Silence.

Hey, Neo. Truly impressive track. I most definitely agree with Danke's comment. Can't really say anything more. Except for this (and I mean it as a high compliment): I reminded me of one summer in the mid 60's when, in between working my summer job shifts in a sawmill outside of Vancouver, I took in as many live bands as I could afford to see. There was one from San Francisco, no idea of the name now. Psychedelic. Masterful musicianship. Great, fluid, inventive guitar work. The music just flowed over the audience. Your track took me back there. Not quite the same genre, but definitely had the same feel. Thanks.

    Eric,

Its always an honor to get response from those I truly respect as well. Cool story btw, I had a few of those experiences with bands. It really is pretty awesome how music can do that.

I appreciate the kind words and admit that its very rewarding to know that my music is capable of producing an emotional effect. In the end, it is really the goal.

Nice the only thing is the flagger effect sounds alittle too much on a mono speaker

Hey Mike thanks for checking me out bro.
I'm not exactly sure what your referring to as flagger effect but for certain I don't record or review my tracks for playback in mono. It's just not where its at for any kind of music in my opinion.

Cool title! Mix seems under control, things sound even. Nice git work, some awesome noodling around in there, expressive for sure. Nice piece, I can feel the pain and the loss. Sad so many are grossly affected by this while some just ignore it. Sad really.

Music can be a reflection of the times and certainly trigger our emotions. I feel there has been enough sadness for awhile so I intend to move on to something more uplifting and fun. Looking for some inspiration.
    Thanks Wayne.

this captures some spirit of these times as solipsism turns to shock and rage. really cool, fluid playing.

Thanks man. I actually composed this in response to the corona virus and now the worlds attention has shifted to the social unrest over the George Floyd killing. We are living in troubled times. Hopefully some good will come of it.

Ahhh...what a professional artist you are Neo...
not many people can say that they own the instrument in this way ... emotion, intellect, and technical knowledge are all in one place ... enviable ... and the mixing is already at least 90% ... :-)
chill rock from the first league...

Extremely humbled by your words danke. My whole reason for posting music here is to provide something that will hopefully have some positive emotional effect and maybe serve to inspire others. I'm not really looking for praise or envy although I realize its a nice gesture and I certainly appreciate it. There's several here that I have always held in high regard and you top the list. Thanks for always being one of the best examples of what a community like this has to offer. I can honestly say that you have been a great help to me over the years and remain as someone I truly admire and respect as both an artist and a person.
I still got a ways to go on the mixing I know. but you flatter me with that 90 %.

Thanks Steve. That was my intent for the track but as I speak the reflection and silence here in the states has turned to outrage and violence due to another incident involving law enforcement and the black community. I'm sure everyone is probably seeing the reports by now. The year 2020 is very much turning out to be a dramatic test for humanity in many ways. Lets hope for the best.

Description : I wrote this song some time ago when I was living in Florida. It's even more true today.

Vocals by Arthur Granquist, guitar by the great Kevin Lysen, drums by Marc Karmatz, also the recording engineer.

The idea musically was to take some rock and some bluegrass elements, mash 'em up and see what happened.

Every day is a struggle to do better in a crazy world.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : Here is a new rock track that I recently wrote. I sang and played all the instruments. Drums are from EZ Drummer, everything else was played live. If you like the track feel free to download it. Thanks Kyle!

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.

Description : Hello Loopies!!!

This song was supposed to be a Bedlam Kids track, but due to the low (none) interest of Pete on continuing that project, I'll upload the remaining tracks as instrumentals as soon as I can.

For now, here's a song written almost 7 months ago, it's called Simple Things.

Hope you enjoy it!!!
