I'm not sure if he completed the project due to the COVID pandemic, so I decided to put it on here and see if anyone might have a use for it. You are much too kind. I'm just an old guy who is a lifelong musician who has lost a step or two as I get older, but I still enjoy it. I have to say I've listened to quite a few of your tracks and you are probably one of the best vocalists on this site. You can sing in any genre...well, you could probably sing the phone book and make it sound fantastic. It's obvious that you have paid your dues, and had success and you are great example to others that if they work hard, and persevere that perhaps they will find success as well. If not, the journey is just as sweet. As always, I appreciate you taking the time to visit my little corner of the Loop. Happy holidays to you and yours, and stay safe out there. The world is a scary place. I hope all is well.

I program myself my drum parts, I do not use "ez drummer", I prefer to play "live" it is perhaps what makes the little extra (unpretentious) in my songs!keep making great music, we all need it right now!

    Reply by ShortBusMusic

I do a lot of my programming for drums as well. I like using EZ Drummer for the different kits they have. Lots of choices when looking for specific sounds, and it also allows me to add/mute different cymbals, toms, etc. Some of their pre-programed licks are good, but it also fun to do my own. Hope all is well.

Hey there Bear! Wow! What an amazing piece. It has a very full-bodied rich sound with no aftertaste. I like this because can only imagine what kind of footage this could of went with. Very bold ATTACK on the drums. You always make tunes to impress. On the final master did you intend to run the limiter so high or did not use a limiter? Very masterful!

Hey Bear, I hope all is well. I enjoyed this one.

    Reply by ShortBusMusic

Joe, my brother, I hope this finds you well. These are scary times we live in and I worry about my old friends (not that you're that old, but you know what I mean, haha). It is always great to have you stop by and offer an honest critique. I did not use a limiter on the final master, and in retrospect, I probably should have. Mastering has never been a strong suit for me. Heck, mixing hasn't either....or playing...or composing, haha. Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by my place for a bit, Joe. It is great to hear from you. I hope you and your family are well. Stay safe.

Beautiful road Music evocative of wide spaces and sunny skies veiled by rare clouds. Complex and dynamic drumming supports long, evocative synths very well. Overall a great job with some echoes of the first Tangerine Dream (at the time of the album "Greeen Desert).

    ShortBusMusic, my name is Yaver.
I will ask you for help on a very important matter, I would be very happy if you help me.
Can you suggest a widely used music library or source with orchestral melodies or music?
Or do you know the music library or source of orchestral melodies used by XmafaX in "Battle March", "Envy" or "Behnam Zandi - The Return Of The Hero"?
Please tell me the name of a music library / music library where I can find at least the kind of sounds that XmafaX uses.
I love you and your music!

    Reply by ShortBusMusic

Yaver, first let me say thank you for your kind words. I'm not sure where Paulo gets his orchestral work to blend with his heavy metal - he is a true craftsman so he may build his cinematic tracks himself. If you are looking for high quality loop packs, you can always go to Magix and purchase some of their "sound pools." They range in price from $9.95 US to $49.95 US. They are wav files and sorted by tempo and key and that might be a good place to start. I like to compose most of my stuff myself since I know what I'm looking for and it's easier just to build it instead of finding it. Big Fish Audio also has some nice stuff, as well as Prime Loops and Loopmasters. There's a lot out there to choose from. You might contact Paulo and see where he got his from. Anyway, it is always a great pleasure to have you stop by and comment. I hope all is well.

I like the upbeatedness of this.

It is very uplifting and motivating and I can very easily hear it in a movie.

Good to see you posting some more of your quality music again Bear. Hope Florida is treating you right, starting to warm up. Be safe man, a good time to stay home and produce....and work on your tan!

Dig the song, great for the project for which you made it. A looper a few years ago sent me a link to his drone footage over islands in Greece to one of my songs. I love the footage those get, amazing. Watched a guy destroy a bee hive while filming using one, ha!

Cinematic, a bit western/futurist, I would say good for slow motion footage or montage editing or planetarium music.

Stay safe, hope you are feeling well!

Hey Wayne, great to hear from you. Loving the warm weather, and sheltering in place isn't too bad when you have your own pool and a view of a bird sanctuary right off the pool area.

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked to see what Danny comes up with. He and his brother have taken some pretty cool footage with the drone, and he seemed pretty happy with the music, so we shall see.

I hope all is well on your side of the state. Stay safe, keep 6 feet apart and watch out for the crazies on the beach, brother. Thanks for stopping by to give this one a go. It is appreciated.

Description : Guys, This track made for a short movie.
I hope you enjoy it if you do then please leave me a comment.

Description : First off, I am a huge fan of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "The Hobbit." After watching all of the movies (including the final chapter of the Hobbit", I was motivated to write something that I thought might work with their journey home.

Samplitude has a couple of great new VST's, one called "World Flutes" and the other "Celtic Harp" and I used both of them in this song. I created every last note on this one. Guitars were all Fenders, soft synths besides the Samplitude items mentioned previously were created in the SynthMaster series by KVR, and the strings were created with Samplitude's "String Ensemble."

Not sure about the mix (my hearing is shot), so most of the mixing is done by sight instead of listening. If you hear something way out of whack, let me know. If you are interested in taking this one further, let me know and I'll post a link to the stems. Thanks to the Hobbit for the inspiration and to you for listening.

EDIT: I've had some requests for the individual instrument stems so here is the link to all of those files. The tempo is 80bpm. Feel free to do whatever you want with this one.

EDIT: I've had over 200 downloads of the stems, so if you have done anything with them it would be cool to hear it (thanks for the interest).

Description : I had no particular intention doing this, but then it just came on me out of nowhere....How to make an antithesis Halloween work!? Prior to that there were no plans to make a track for the occasion, furthermore I've never been really interested in such a thing. It always seemed a bit silly to me if not outright childish. But then I remembered the Interview with The Vampire and Bram Stoker's Dracula. My gosh, there was some peculiar romanticism in there and I probably don't have to tell you twice that this must be a bait for Orlando, as is a cup of fresh young blood for a vampire...:) Furthermore I like people who are different, so I just have to like vampires who a different as it should be dawning on you by now that this won't be your standard Halloween tune...haven't I mentioned "antithesis"? growling zombies, midnight cemetery bells, creaking doors or any of your favourite horror sounds, although it's still a little bit darker in tone...hell yeah, vampires are still vampires...haha...but this one is mainly about a vampire desperately in love with a young lady, craving for her as a madman...I won't tell whether she's also a vampire or not, cause you might figure it out listening to the track...^^ Otherwise it was about time for me to come up with a new solo work, since I've been almost exclusively doing collabs in those past few months (which I love ofcourse)...afteral you can always ask Ed...:)^^____Happy Halloween folks!:)
