Description : Jim wanted to record some guitar so I put a quick bass and drum track together to give us some direction and Jim decided to rip it up again. I went back in and redid some bass to better match what he laid down and then put together an intro. Tele through a Fender Bronco, Jaco Jazz bass, EZ drummer

    Thanks man!

Just a quick jam idea basically, there is more like this on the way...

My Fender Bronco, I just use as a practice amp but Jim lit it up, he attacks the guitar when he plays, fun to watch.

There is nothing better than listening to a recording of live instruments being played by people who know what they are doing. Love that guitar work! Nothing better than a Fender, guess that's why I own 3 of them, haha. Anyway, I digress. This has one of those old bluesy jam feels to it, you know the jams that take place after the show when everybody has a few beers to relax. Outstanding job Wayne. I hope all is well.

Hey man, thanks! It was pretty spontaneous how it happened. Jim said he was swinging by in 20 minutes to record something and this is what happened. Fenders are great, and Gibsons, and Martins, and... ha! It's just a jam basically, like you mentioned, something you play to warm up with before band practice.

Hanging in here, same old thing. Luckily we can still put some fun music together.

    Take care Bear!

Sounds really good, left it playing in the background and was jamming to it. Nice work.

Wow Wayne...what an inventive intro...for that alone it was worth listening, but that doesn't mean that the rest of the track left me cold...on the contrary...I'm always excited to hear that raw organic stuff that you often provide. Great work guys!!

    Compliments and respect____Leon

Thanks Leon! The intro was an afterthought and I think it added to the track in a positive way. Appreciate the comments!

This track took me in a very different direction than what I usually do... but by Jove, I had fun. Muchas gracias!

18/10/2020: holy smoke I hadn't realised what a chaotic mess I had made of the mixing. Cleaned it up to my limited abilities and I guess I'll come back again to it later. Even more thanks for listening!

Description : I wrote this song some time ago when I was living in Florida. It's even more true today.

Vocals by Arthur Granquist, guitar by the great Kevin Lysen, drums by Marc Karmatz, also the recording engineer.

The idea musically was to take some rock and some bluegrass elements, mash 'em up and see what happened.

Every day is a struggle to do better in a crazy world.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : My transition track here.

Want to start integrating some guitar into my tracks.

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
