Instantly loved it Joe! Reminds me of a simpler time. The right vocals on top of this would be the cherry on top of the icing!

I keep hearing "Either one of us...." singing in the song in my head.

Great track man! Take care of yourself Joe and glad to hear the hits didn't stop forever, ;).

    Great one for calming down.
For me it is a bit to mmmmm dreamy but it has a nice sexual feeling.
I bet Barry White could do some good vocals to it.
The sound is very good and all is fine and clear and fits perfect to your "anti loudness war" you start in the forum.
I have to say that you did a real good work and maybe you should change your name to Joe Soulmatic :)

    stay tuned

Hey Joe, I always new you had a lot soul in you brother! I am glad you notice my new anti-loudness approach. Joe to be honest with you brother, my ears are sore and tired of all the loud noise. Like you said in another thread, maybe I am old. Oh well, the kids can have their so called adult music, but I got mine, which is mature music! I might just add your name suggestion to list of my AKA's, lol. It is good that we can all express ourselves in away that make us feel good and have the support of the community in the process. Thanks Joe!

Awesome music with sounds from a great, if not the greatest era of music, old school always and forever on will sound better then anything after it, everything was done using real instrument rather then now where everything is computer-generated, awesome work, made my father smile, Larry

    JoeFunktastic
    Reply by JoeFunktastic

I am from that time Larry and I might be about your father age. So many people around here are just chasing beats on this site. I like to think songs are way better than making a beat. And whomever decided to call modern songs a beat must have been high on something.

In any regard, lets never forget the greats who came before us. Props and mad respect to your father, he has got great taste in music for sure! Peace Larry!

    Wow, it's still great. :)

There is too much things to praise, but let me to critise the only little buggy thing. :)
There is some break in the tune, where it sound like it grind to a halt for a split of a second second and it's a bit disturbing, somehow not feeling smooth, like a cuted sound.
    I heard it around 1:49.

I think it's only a sensual illusion and dunno if others hear the same way - i had the same thing sometimes in my tunes too (especially with guitar loops), but lately i can trick it - slipping some of the tracks to enter before time with a few milliseconds (noone really can hear it) and problem solved. :)

    Regards, traz

Brother sup man! I am from the old school, the really, really old school. So old we just call it ol' skool ya know. Lol, my title has a bit of sarcasm, okay. But all of these Juice WRLD and Lil Babies out here got me saying why don't these fools get their own juice (ill sound.) I aint knocking anyone bro. If it is music to you, N-word rappers and all, then that is great, but not for me. Todays songs got about a two week shelf life and then they are gone and forgotten Vinny. The Motown hits are legends of international historic proportions. But lots of Trap commercial songs made today will be forgotten because there is nothing wore than a senior citizen gangsta in a wheelchair with an oxygen tank while drinking prune juice, lol.

    Peace Bro!

Spot on Joe, I'm sure you had everyone moving real slow to this one. Those drums are so dry and crispy and that bass is no smooth. I found myself jamming along with my guitar to this, really really nice.

Thanks Pentacrinus! I guess being from the time period and experienced the music of that time period and todays garbage, there is no comparison worth talking about. Todays commercial songs have about 2 week shelf life. If it is a pop culture viral song like Old Town Road maybe tack on a few more weeks.

But we remember bands like the Eagles, the Temptations, and Grateful Dead. We remember Marvin Gaye, Hall & Oates, and David Bowie. But the garbage today, who is going to remember all of these Lil Morons? Okay my mini-rant is done, lol. Thanks for the review and kind words Pentacrinus.

    Hi Joe,

This reminds me of basement parties and slow dragging (pre-70s term for dancing slow) with that one red light in the ceiling ha ha. Great throwback tune. Cameo "Why have I lost you" and Gladys "Neither one of Us" Knight would be proud.

    JoeFunktastic
    Reply by JoeFunktastic

Hi Wikkid, well that is what I had hoped would be the general idea, the Gladys Knight feel. I so much missed those days. As a footnote, the reason why I make so many loops in other genres is because I had hoped it would trigger a feeling that I get when I put on the oldies. Nothing close. I am from 60s and 70s time period so it make sense that I would want to recapture some of my youth you know. Okay enough rambling. Thanks so much for the review and stopping by.
