Description : A concept track that I initially hated. A friend of mine eventually convinced me to feel otherwise and is writing lyrics for it. Enjoy the instrumental... or don't... idk man.

very cool concept...what I really like is the use of the bass synth...intro (or chorus) yes than in the verse parts no...unique but fantastic...yeah, vocal can get the 11/10...in this state it's only 10/10...:-)

    handshake, Danke

    Yup yup!

The concept of this track was two-fold: improving my arrangement skills (like you picked up with the bass placement) and reinforcing the theory knowledge that I've been gaining over the course of this year (thus the name of the title: I made this track in Dorian minor).

Always a pleasure to hear from you! I'll take the 10/10; thank you very much! =P

I'm absolutely in love with this one. I'd definitely love to see what your friend comes up with for the lyrics and vocals!

Glad to hear you're into it. It took me a while, as I mentioned in the description. =P

We'll see what ends up happening. Worst case scenario, I can open the track up for downloads and see if I can find a vocalist from the internet... I don't anticipate that happening though...

Lush intro with very nice low ends.

Like the percussion element some time was spent creating that effect.

Love the 1:34 synths and wind instruments such a really warm full sound

If you are making chilled songs like this you should be sending them too Ministry Of Sound for their Chillout Albums.

So glad i listened to this and cant believe that was 4:13...seemed like 2 minutes...that means its good..very good:)

    Kind Regards,

Thanks for the kind words dude!

From a synthesis perspective, no effort was really put into the percussion (gasp). It's all sample layering/mixing (e.g. different reverb layers to the main snare clap on the 2 & 4 to provide contrast, manually timed hat rolls, etc).

Makes me feel kinda guilty considering I pride myself on doing some kick/hat synthesis usually... Layering can be hard though... XD

Ministry of Sound?!?!?! Those guys are legends!!!

    Again, what kind words! =DDD

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.

Description : Many of you know well that Tumbleweed & Orlando collabs are pretty much well established tradition within LM society by now, and here is the newest example to reinforce that tradition. It's probably the last this year (yet never take it for granted) and I think it has (although not particularly intended) a bit of that seasonal celebrative nature, thus fitting quite well into this festive feel of December. Despite providing it's share of melancholic tones (you can bet who is responsible...haha...) it's a quite happy tune overall...and it doesn't bite, so you're all most welcome to listen and comment !... As always my sincere thanks to Ed !

Description : a song about that special moment when the day is almost over and the night hasn't yet begun and the sunset baths the world around you in red light..... it is a song about freedom ..... usually I never say that, but this one is almost perfect ...... peace, rei

Description : Fellow looper TRE24 also known as T2 offered this chill hip-hop beat for collaboration purposes. Somehow it grabbed my attention although I've never been involved in anything hip hop based and so I decided to do my take on this one with probably totaly un-hip-hopish approach by smuggling in some quite classic orlandesque material...but it was quite fun making it...All my thanks to T2...:)

Description : The spring is in full motion over here and I guess it helped me quite a bit to complete my part of the job on yet another exciting collab with maestro Tumbleweed. Most of our collab works contain at least some aspect which demonstrates something out of ordinary one or another way. This time we got a peculiar combination of mysticism and merciless attacks of soapiness (my bad....haha)....So let's listen to hear whether I'm right or not!....:) As always on such occasions, all my thanks to Ed !

Description : So much better than the original, check it out if you like smokin' music, enjoy!
