Description : I've been a fan of Jeff Lynne's music since I first heard ELO back in the 70's. His production style is unique and pretty awesome, to say the least. I tried doing this one because it's mostly guitar based and it's a fun song. I would like to thank ferryterry for his horn loops I used in the lead. Fender Strat Squire into a Fender Bronco for guitars. Lots of singing. Added some cello but sparingly. Changed my master track effects setup and worked more on gain staging, seems to have helped.

This type of rock n roll is a subject in which I am very ignorant ... is it the 60s kind? It is very distant from the rock that I like to listen to, but here you feel the passion that you put into it, and this makes me like it very much!

This is 70's music, typical blues progression in A.

I worked hard for about 9 days putting this together. It's not perfect, none of my tracks are but it's me and my interpretation of the song and I learned a lot about mixing over the last week or so.

    Thanks for stopping by!

Well, that's rock and roll! Some of the vocals and instruments are slightly out of tune. It's hard to do harmonies and everything like this. Pretty good overall though. Good enough for a demo, but for an album it would have to be redone. Your sound is pretty clear. Good job! It has a happy feel to it.

Thanks man! The song is in the key of A and it's really difficult for me to hit the hi notes he sings in the track so I did another take of singing in a lower register and it sounded ok, i could hit the notes better but the song lost some of it's zip.

I ended up do the low and hi vox 4 times till i got it this good, he! I figured the good parts on one track would over ride the bad parts on the other track if they were slightly out of tune. And they were but you saw right through my plan. ;)

I am not a lead singer, backups ok but not a lead singer. I do it because i can and if i miss a couple of notes then it sounds live rather than an over polished, over worked track. This is just a hobby anyways. I take the mixing adventure serious but i'm not looking to get famous or be perfect in any way. Besides, I'm just a bass player, the rest of the instruments are a bonus for me.

The gits are in tune, the left one is spot on and the other has bends, crunchy chit and noodling which I am not great at but once again I can so I do. The last chord I tried to do a "Beatles chord" ending with the # minor chord in opposition to the major. I like it personally but it may sound a bit off because it kinda is.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.

Description : Hello Loopies!!!

This song was supposed to be a Bedlam Kids track, but due to the low (none) interest of Pete on continuing that project, I'll upload the remaining tracks as instrumentals as soon as I can.

For now, here's a song written almost 7 months ago, it's called Simple Things.

Hope you enjoy it!!!
