Yo, Cru. Only a brief comment as you've given up replying to me. First piano breakdown was very tasty. Sensual and warm. Lovely delays. Wish it had been longer but at least it returns. An odd juxtaposition with the house but you enjoy doing that. Congrats.

Yo! Strandelastic crapbag, whatsup? Sorry if I seem aloof these days, I just went through a major medical situation which sapped most of my energy including finally writing songs. I am doing better now and have a new creative spirit again.

About Face! @ 1:20, ha! Abrupt and cool. I liked how you transitioned into the next part, which was an interestingly less powerful part but still kept me wondering what was gonna happen next.

If this was played at a club it would be funny to watch the crowd dancing and whooping it up and then the slow parts kick in. On first listen, how would they continue dancing to the slower parts, hmmmmm.... You may create the next dance craze, crustep or something. he.

    Neat track!

I think, and I could be wildly wrong. If this were played in a club, the whole crowd would hug each other and sway to the Piano delays in time until It kicked back in, but that may require an unhealthy amount of E for that too happen. One can dream though ;-)

    Hi Cru,

Wow, that switch up at 1:16 was a pleasant surprise. The piano is so melancholy and haunting, it makes me think you're trying some new things in this piece, especially with it being the sole instrument in section 1:16 thru 1:50.

You stated from the outset that this was quirky, but I'm thinking that this is a very cerebral composition. After the piano solo I listened even more closely to hear how you'd get back the house vibe. Of course as skilled as you are instruments were added one by one until everything fit in place.

    Jam on it!

You've incorporated funk, rock, pop, jungle, and a bit of jazz fusion into this house mix. Bravo, and a definite fave from me.

Wikkid! You are correct, there was a bit of thought on this one, and it is quirky. Just trying something different, hopefully, the transition came across better than throwing a car in reverse that is traveling at 100KPH. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi cru, technically, it's a great track, everything sounds great. Very professional!
But to be honest, and with no disrespect intended, I found the track all over the place. I was expecting more structure and coherence. And so for me, imho, the track didn't come together. (If you see what I mean)
    Just maybe needs some re-arranging?

    With much love :)

Alien.... no disrespect was taken. I like honesty. We have been down this path before you and me. I think you look at dance music as having to be for a certain standard that works for say a club setting. So when someone like me wildly deviates from the norm, it sets the hairs on the back of your neck up like a warning system. This particular work is me just seeing if I can do it and like you said maybe we could improve on the dropped down sections. I was thinking of adding some political voices in the two sections, but each voice being the opposite of one another politically. I did want to pay homage to Roxy Music´s For Your Pleasure, and Brian Eno´s fantastic use of Tape head delays.
In honour of there being inducted in the Rock & Roll hall of fame this month I had to play around with the delays.
As always a pleasure to hear your opinions, and i do take them to heart, so keep on keeping on! ;-)

You're good at seamless transitions. It inspires some new creative thoughts for me. Even in it's peak it never becomes overpowering for the mood that you set in the slower, more melodic parts. This really showcases your artistic abilities.

Thank You. It´s a moody piece, not quite designed for the dancefloor but as a more IDM then EDM sound. Appreciate you stopping by.

Description : UPDATED: I updated the middle piano to be louder in the mix as some have suggested, As Trump festers in his lies. As Putin shoves his fist up in the Ukraine and, meddle with North American elections and those pesky Russians with there hacking social media with there fake news.. as Europe and Syria and the world destabilize, the song becomes more relevant these days. We keep on Dancing as the world prepares for war.

About the preview, after the drop will start to another semi drop and with an harder more rawish main chorus part behind. Everything is as good as done now and being checked by demo listeners for response and feedback before getting a last hand at mixing&mastering.
