VERY GOOD

JCJMusic 18th Jun 2018 09:08 - 8 years ago

the guitar is too upfront..and has some nasty frequency to it..tame those freq..and give the vocal some room to breath....with a good mix and mastering ..u got something here fam

Dragi89 replied 24th Jun 2018 - 8 years ago

thanks i'm working on it. i'm trying keep the melody kinda and change tempo and stuff. ye i'm learning to mix and master it.

Dirtzilla 17th Jun 2018 15:36 - 8 years ago

Nice tune but you need to put the guitar back and bring the vocals forward. It's a nice track and I like the song.

thanks. =) hopefully i make something good from it.

Grunties 17th Jun 2018 02:59 - 8 years ago

It has charm. Technically, you have got some clipping going on with the guitar, I think you have maxed out the headroom that loses the subtlety and dynamics. I would suggest a gentler approach. I am guessing you recorded the vocal at same time? I would suggest you move the mic closer to your face than the guitar, or separate the tracks. What DAW are you using?

Dragi89 replied 17th Jun 2018 - 8 years ago

thanks for the feedback, ill try moving mic closer. im using a zoom h1 handy recorder. i have a rode NT2-A and scarlett solo, just need better laptop or desktop so i can use flS12, without laggin or crashin.

Description : A stranger's knife is expected. It wounds the body and spares the heart.

But when the blade comes from a brother's hand, or a son's, or a wife's gentle fingers, it carves something no surgeon can repair. They knew where I was soft. They had always known.

I have been betrayed by enemies and I have been betrayed by kin. Only one taught me that trust is a door, and family holds the only keys.

Blood binds us but It never promised to bind us kindly.
