Awesome tune Alien, one of the better tunes on here I've heard in a long time. Well crafted piece with lots of interesting and massive sound elements. Love the retro feel btw, takes me back. Congratulations on a great tune, mad respect to you :)

    Great job!
    sounds also very crystal clear

Loving the snare work in the intro.

    Nailing the 90's vibe.

    Beautifully evolving.

I agree with Bleep, a bit of reverb would make it pop more.

    Great effort my dude.
Reply by Alien Thanks for listening!
I've just added some reverb. Let me know.

    Peace out.

Cool sound.. The melody almost has a feel from the Hacienda days in Manchester (New order, Caberet Voltaire and more) But with a very modern syncopation and sound. very cool tune.
    Me likey

Great energetic video game feel. I'm looking for something work with fast assembly machines. Had a Nine Inch Nails track, but licensing that is scary.

    Hello Alien,

really good track here, the old school touch is really appreciate! may be i will add some reverb on the synth to give it more presence / volume :)

the beat is well heavy, and if you want to accentuate the old school approach, you can add a clap, typical from the 90's :)

really good work, congratulations for this song!
Reply by Alien Oui merci pour le feedback!

C'est le premier jet, aux ecouteurs. ;) Y'a du boulot! Heheh

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!
***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : The answer to Close Encounters is Hymn Of The Pleiades. This is a strictly groove track where the elements of ambient meets electronic funk and Hip Hop. Track was recorded, mixed and mastered using Mixcraft Pro Studio 6 software. Results were achieved by using a FATA Studio 90 MIDI keyboard ran through a E-MU Proteus 2000 sound module, - for the phat funky bass synth. I also used a KORG O5R/W sound module for the retro lead synth parts and ambient sound pads.
I utilized what was essentially a old school Hip Hop drum track, arranged and beefed it up for that extra umh! I greatly appreciate all the positive feedback the track has garnered thus far. Keep listening and by all means, your comments are much welcomed... thanks.
Description : Recently I've been quite into future bass and this my first real try at making it.

Update - This is the updated completed version of the song featuring Eshar on the vocals. This is a very experimental track and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised by it.

I don't know where else to put this, but I really want to thank the Looperman community for giving my track a chance. It's almost hit 800 plays and it's got so many favorites, it's insane. Thanks to everyone who made this the song it is right now.

Description : Recently did a collab with Looperman user doctorcatface, and this is what came of it. He sent me his project file with individual loop sections. I laid out the arrangement and wrote some lyrics. Did the mixing and mastering too. I don't know about you, but I enjoy listening to this one. Here's the original track that inspired the collab:

Thanks much for listening!

You can get the new Spivkurl album "Charting The Anomaly," which includes this track at the We Are... Records Capitalist Market found here:
Description : The wild warrior.
In a mysterious chilling EBM mix.
In this unusual song I didn't use loops, only VST's.
The total wacky WHOOO, for the Jungle alarm flute. It really has a totally funky interface.
Then even the Revolta2, Tethys2 and MT Powerdrumkit2.
And underneath, sounds from Robotar.
Mixed with Spinner and KeroVee and some more FX stuff.
And on top of it a little singing, by myself.
Again the question arises.
What is the name of this style or genre?
But more important, of course, is that you like it.
Comments are sure welcome.
Enjoy the music and dance like a wild warrior

Description : Well, yesterday I did another cover tune, this time an REM song from the album "Monster." I've wanted to cover this song for quite some time, and it all fell into place in just a couple hours. I took one of the basses from my modular synth, and the intro atmosphere was played on my optical theremin. In the chorus there is an arpeggiated organ sound which is sampled from my Gibson G-101 organ. The drums are all samples, and the rest of the synths are VST. Very interested to hear the reaction to this, as it's quite different from the original. Thanks for listening.
Description : This song is represents the final summation of Spivkurl's new album "HellLP." Wrote it with my own two legs and a brain, and composed it with the help of some of my robot friends. The message should be very clear, and if it is not, then you may want to unplug for a while.
