Description : I started this one several months ago, not sure if I want to call this one done but I figured I would upload it as my last song of the year. Wouldn't mind a guitar or another lead instrument to fill a few open spaces but the idea is there. It started out as a swing tune but now it has a rock/swing feel to it. 3 piece horns, drum loops, EZ drummer, piano loops and bass.Update: Fixed a few loud bass notes, adjusted compression on master track.

What a nice groovy little song you give to us here.
I really enjoyed the power of this one. It sounds almost like a band is playing life some nice, wild, swinging stuff. I am in love with music that sounds like played life and you done a real good work for sure. Maybe the horns could be a bit more mmmm powerful/wilder but that means nothing at all.

    Really fresh - great!

    stay tuned

Hello, this is a fun track. Got my fingers snapping before I even realized. The piano sounds great but the drums, man, amazing. Great arranging of the loops.

Try to make the horns fit in a bit more. They felt a bit out of place for me, but that could be part of this Swing Jazz vibe that the track has. I dunno.

I like it. Keep up the good work. :P

Heya Wayne, it's good to hear another new and fine tune. Sounds a bit like ballroom swing if that makes sense. Piano phrasing sounds great, did you play it. This is totally different from all your other stuff, but in a fresh way Fantastic job brother, thanks for sharing :)

Reply by theHumps Hey Pete, hope the holidays with the family was a great one!

Ballroom swing was the intended goal. People doing all those crazy dances, throwing their partners around like they were performing pro wrestling moves on them, he.

The piano parts are loops from, if I remember correctly,Adobe Audition Loopology packs that came with the software. I only wish I could play that well.

It's a bit different for me but I love Louis Prima's music so much I had to do something like this at some point so I started this one.

Thanks for your kinds! Take care bud!

    I love it.

It's different, not sure exactly what it is but it has a broad influence going on.

Not sure how to classify this one, when it was just bass and drums I was perplexed which way to take the song. It's something. ha.

Thanks, have a great new years!

    Hello Wayne!

Wow, completely surprised. No guitars? Weird already. :)
Still, it was interesting and complex. Nice one!

Reply by theHumps That is unusual now that you mention it, ha!

Thanks man, something a little different. I hear a couple unwanted bass squeaks in there but not even an acoustic.

    Cheers! Happy New Year!

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : EDIT: Changed intro based on suggestion by StaticNomad, major revamp on drum track as again suggested by StaticNomad and reprised the metal guitar section as the outro based on Valvedriver and Danke suggestions and overall interest by those who commented.
Big thanks guys for your expert advice and opinions here. I really think it improved the track and showed me just how much it pays to listen and apply some of the things that are offered up in these reviews.
**Second Edit - Adjusted levels and mastered.

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).

Description : Hello Loopies!!!

This song was supposed to be a Bedlam Kids track, but due to the low (none) interest of Pete on continuing that project, I'll upload the remaining tracks as instrumentals as soon as I can.

For now, here's a song written almost 7 months ago, it's called Simple Things.

Hope you enjoy it!!!

Description : So I had a guitar lick for years that I never did anything with. I was going to try to write a country song with it, instead it turned into kind of retro rock track. I am pretty happy with the end result, I think it turned out better than my initial idea. I sang and played all of the instruments on the track. The drums are from Ez Drummer, which is awesome in my opinion. Thanks for listening, if you like the track please feel free to download.

Description : Unfinished track I'm working on, based off of Danke's "Black Roses" piano loop. Looking for a collab! I'm looking to go in a Rock meets Electronic or Dubstep direction, but I'm open to ideas. I have lyrics for a bridge, but it doesn't sound right with just a piano. I need amped up instrumentals. I really want to bring the pre-chorus ("everybody, c'mon, everybody") back at the end, but up an octave up in a belt with some heavy guitars possibly? I really want to amp up this song. Please excuse the piano in the chorus. It's not as beautiful as Danke's arrangement but I needed a change in chords. The song is in E minor by the way. Tempo=

Description : This track was inspired by a discussion at work. - Las Vegas has always been an onslaught of humanity. Even on its slowest days, the city is still crowded. And it goes twenty-four hours a day. Lights, sounds, movement. All of it is non-stop. - "Resident Evil - Extinction" presented a different look upon Glitter Gulch, a gambling tourist city that had been forgotten and wasted due to the end of times. - And that is what started our discussion at MORTradio. All of us here have visited Las Vegas, and have always enjoyed our time there. A lot of us here go back often. - One day, while we were embalming, all of us started talking about "end of the world" scenarios. We discussed other scenarios, such as ones like Matheson's "I am Legend", or Romero's living dead apocalypse, or Boyle's "28 Day/Weeks Later", or King's "The Stand", and we all started brainstorming as to how Las Vegas would stand if such a 'end-of-times' thing would actually happen. We agreed on this much. Whoever was trying to get out of Las Vegas, or get into it, would have to be straight forward and determined. That person would have to not think twice about leaving someone behind, or putting someone down. Seems kind of brutal, but it is the reality. - And so MORTradio came up with this track. - ROSINA DEAD VEGAS TREK was mixed on Magix Music Maker 2015, and was created using personal loops, as well as loops from the Looperman contributors that are listed below: - Chuckseabo - Hard Techno Bass
