It could perfectly fit into some sci-fi movie while doing some alien investigtion hehe. You deliver on this one Neuro ! And the choirs gives it like a "staring into my soul" situation hehe. As said before, good one !

Not sure but something takes it out of its nice groove at those points and it seems to lose the dream that was happening.
Might just be me as no one else seems to have mentioned it but it throws me off kilter for sure.
See what others say and if it isn't just me this is definitely worth working on.
Reply by neuromancer56 I think it might be the dynamically panning bass. I wasn't sure if it harmonizes with the rest well, but it definitely came on really strong and threw me out of the mood a bit. So I softened it and it seems to keep things at a more mellow vibe a little. I might have to replace it entirely, but it seems better toned down. Let me know if it helped.

Nice use of the choir loop being understated and a little distant.
For me something goes a little wrong at 0:47 and I can't get it back on track in my head.
Starts out with so much promise.
There's something very nice going on here that needs a little tender loving care to put it right.
Reply by neuromancer56 I'm game to fix it, but I'm missing something. At @ 0:47 the whistle and the pad with plucks fades out for 1 sec. Then @ 0:48 the whisper, the dynamically panning bass, and the drums kick in. Are you thinking the fade out is bad? The new elements are just wrong for the track, or they aren't phased in correctly? Are the new elements out of sync, or do they just clash with the other elements?

Ok, I like the version with drums also, it changes the vibe slightly, but still they fit. Only for my taste they appear too early, so adding them later gives you more track time, but at risk of song sounding more monotone. I think you should play around with it more, maybe adding some subtle rising automated effects before first drums hit, therefore making the song more progressive. Well, as long as your cpu allows it and you are having fun. Cheers!
Reply by neuromancer56 Brilliant advice! I took another listen, and you were spot on about the drums coming in too soon. I lengthened the intro, gave it more of a build up and it sounds much better, and also added 32 seconds to the track, which also helps solve the problem of it being too short.

JUst chilled out to your new track super relaxed vibe and has your seamless touch to the arrangement i loved the acoustic guitar my favourite instrument. The choir and vocals are super cool. Nice work my friend. Best regards Robbie.
Reply by neuromancer56 Thanks Robbie. I added some drums. I hope that didnt wreck the track for you. Please let me know what you think of the change.

Really soothing melody, very meditative experience, although wouldn't mind if track lasted bit longer
Reply by neuromancer56 Glad you liked it. I added drums now at the beginning, and it seems to hold together the bass line a little better and adds a little excitement to the track. Im worried that the drums will cause the track to lose a little bit of its meditative feel, but the ending still has no drums and is more meditative. Please let me know if you like the addition of the drums. I agree with you that I wish it would last longer as well, but sometimes thats all the material you have and its better to be short and sweet than long and repetitive. Doesnt mean I wont keep looking for opportunities to lengthen it. (looperman wont let me use apostrophes here. it says please post only in English when I do)

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.

Description : Many of you know well that Tumbleweed & Orlando collabs are pretty much well established tradition within LM society by now, and here is the newest example to reinforce that tradition. It's probably the last this year (yet never take it for granted) and I think it has (although not particularly intended) a bit of that seasonal celebrative nature, thus fitting quite well into this festive feel of December. Despite providing it's share of melancholic tones (you can bet who is responsible...haha...) it's a quite happy tune overall...and it doesn't bite, so you're all most welcome to listen and comment !... As always my sincere thanks to Ed !

Description : Fellow looper TRE24 also known as T2 offered this chill hip-hop beat for collaboration purposes. Somehow it grabbed my attention although I've never been involved in anything hip hop based and so I decided to do my take on this one with probably totaly un-hip-hopish approach by smuggling in some quite classic orlandesque material...but it was quite fun making it...All my thanks to T2...:)

Description : The spring is in full motion over here and I guess it helped me quite a bit to complete my part of the job on yet another exciting collab with maestro Tumbleweed. Most of our collab works contain at least some aspect which demonstrates something out of ordinary one or another way. This time we got a peculiar combination of mysticism and merciless attacks of soapiness (my bad....haha)....So let's listen to hear whether I'm right or not!....:) As always on such occasions, all my thanks to Ed !

Description : This description comes with a bit of delay due to some mysterious purposes..hehe..but so it happened, boys and girls, that this is my second colab work with no other than Mr. Tumbleweed The Great (Ed Cunningham). He sent me a piece of music in a raw and unfinished condition, based on acoustic guitar work, supported with splendid percussion and some tasteful orchestral pads. So my task here was to add some of my own trumpery (haha) and to wrap all up into something what could be called a "finished product". As in the previous offer I granted my strings the dominant role, with viola taking the primary spotlight instead of usual violin which dominated in some of my previous works. Next I included some more piano parts than I usualy do (making Ed happy), some brass for the intro section, and even some bass and electric guitar touches. Sax has also been considered, but just didn't happen (lazy guy ^) , but I deliberately left out any kind of distinct synthesized sounds, wanting it to sound as classical as possible. I hope it turned out nicely in the end, so have a listen and any kind of comment would be appreciated.:)
Also, hat's off to Bear for snuffing the Celtic influences (but probably not knowing who is behind this) and all my thanks to dear Ed for sharing his treasure with me !
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.

Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.

Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
