here my last track! i wrote several tracks since my last passage in this place, i all published them on my soundcloud
Can follow me in this place here: soundcloud.com/bleep64/poker-life-joker-wife
Description : A fat groove journey incorporating hip hop, jazz, rock and more. Chilled out and rocking, with some big riffs and basslines. The main instruments are saxophone, piano and cello plus some resonator guitar and banjo. Sax is the only instrument not played by me as the parts here were contributed a few years ago by a guy I know. Anything that sounds like distorted guitar is actually distorted cello. Loads of that, including solos, in the second half. No electric guitar or bass guitar. Not much synth work but there are two synth basses and an organ. Otherwise, it's quite an acoustic "played instruments" kind of sound. Lots of drums, including loops, multiple programmed acoustic kits and drum hits. I know Radiohead have an excellent song called Everything In Its Right Place but I still like my title and there's a story behind it (nothing to do with music). Interesting feedback appreciated. Do you have any favourite or least favourite sections? Details are appreciated...
Description : Electronic fusion of Dubstep/Trap/Hip hop hybrid. Big ups to Danke,Neezle, and Joe Funktastic for the use of some of their loops. The majority of this track is my creativity. Hope you like it and comments are welcome.
Description : A while ago Danke posted this track, I can't link you to it
because he took it down, he likes keeping his page clean
and simple...Cool by me...
Anyway I added a Bass, in the Bridge and 2 Guitars to the
track, keeping it as simple as possible. with a little Guitar Rock Space with the Bass and Funk with the Guitar jump...
Now if someone has something to say, with a voice
big enough to ride this Monster...Do your Thing...
Send us a link to hear it...
Having fun...Hope you all like it...
Peace...TG.
An awesome cover of one of my long-time favourite tracks.
Nice work! Way to make it sound fresh and new. I always love hearing songs made in one genre transform into another.
I FN LOVE IT THE END!
Soundtrack written all over this!
AWESOME! One of my all time favorite songs to do at karaoke! such a great song! Nice work man!
This is damed good. clean as F...!
Ive never heard the original version of this song but this is amazing! I love the drums and that harmonica thoughh!
Hey Joe. Are all the instruments on this one live? I love the combined sounds of the electric piano and organ. Dan
Just great Joe! Nice work!
Great track, Joe. I somehow missed this one. Loved the way you started out with strings doing the arpeggiated backing chords. Then it really got funky.
I assumed that you played the harmonic live, but I didn't see that you actually do play harp in your profile. So, if that was a VST, I'm even more impressed by the performance. Nice drums as well.
This is one of my favourites as well. I remember when it was released by the Animals. But, it actually is much older song I believe. I remember discussing it with my dentist when I was a teenager, who informed me that it is actually about a brothel. Back then I paid no attention to lyrics, so was very surprised to hear this. :)
Eric
Wow Joe, this is high quality. I don't know how I missed this one but it is a great cover. I also didn't know you played the harmonica. Yeah, this is a great production my friend. Drums are solid! Bass guitar has a great tone to it.
Ronabo
So very funky!!
Ok stop it because this is straight nasty.
Super impressed.
What a song to capture like this.
Great great job!
(I listened to it twice)

this gave me the chills. awesome work
Many artist have done cover songs of this classic, so good to hear your modern interpretation of this one. I remember this as a kid and wondering about this house in the song and it's sorted history, kinda creeped me out back then, ha!
Soulful version, i like the drums especially. Nice mix too, clean and all the instruments sound like they have their own place in the mix.
Hope all is well back home with the fam, Take care Joe!
Wayne
high quality traCk......
Hey Joe,
Great interpretation of a great song. The strings sound pretty awesome with it. The mix and everything about the production is great. Thanks for sharing this with us!!
Kyle
Great you didn't butcher it ;)
GOOD JOBBBBBBBB
I like your take on this song. House of the Rising Sun is a very influential song for me, and I'm sure for many on this site. I'm curious, what instrument would you call this lead? I can't place it
wow this is EPIC!!!! great cover indeed, love the drums too
I think its your own style and i like unique ... keep up your unique style
I did not expect this! Those strings are absolutely briliant. The ambiance is amazing. It trully is an amazing songand this is a great cover.
Those strings are really something but what I really is the variety of sounds that come into play.
Really well put together! Thank you for sharing!
If you played in a band around our part of the planet back in the day you just had to do this one Joe....if not people would be asking for it...did this one more times than I can remember and yet it still speaks to the musical mind as it always did (I did watch Eric & the guys do this one live too)...Great job on this one Joe...good to hear a different instrumental rendition and be reminded of some good times.....Ed
Hi Joe,
Wow youve taken one of my old time favourite and made it your own.
I believe you have given it a new lease of life mate.
Absolutely wonderful track.
Great job Joe.

It is always an amazing experience hearing how a musician's unique style, musicality, technique comes through in a cover - and I really enjoyed discovering you again through this version of 'House of the Rising Sun'
Regards,
Dan
Great Cover Joe.
I love this song as well. My Pop used to play the animals version quite a bit growing up. But I loved the Santa Esmeralda version.

Thanks for bringing back some cool memories thsi evening.
I am working on a feature where I am creating songs from some of the best of looper-mans loopmakers. Tumbleweed was first and you are next on the list. I have the tune already in the can and it's awesome. I will release it on looperman mid- November.
Peace
Cru
I really like it! Do you play any instruments or just pluggins :)?
Hey, joe!
This is without a doubt one of my all-time favorite tunes, and you have certainly done a masterful job in bringing new life to it. The strings and piano are superb. It is definitely being added to my fav list. Well done, you!
LovePeace&Light,
Mykael
That's a different take on it Joe. I expected it to be a bit more funked up, but yeah this is really cool too. I hate to admit that this is probably one of my least favorite classics, mainly due to some bad memories associated with it. But I can certainly acknowledge the work you put into it. Doing a good cover is not so easy to pull off, especially when making it distinctly different from the original. As always, you nailed a pretty sweet version. A very creative and well produced track.
Hey Joe...really great cover man! grew up with this song and like many other aspiring kids it was the first song I learnt to play (badly) on guitar...The strings are great and along with the piano faithfully impart the journey this song represents, it's contemporary with it's own (I mean your) style and yet it takes me back on a time trip to my youth, there's memories in these notes to anyone from my generation and you transitioned from past to future like stepping off the curb, cool production and great drums also, especially the ending, salute to you! cheers Dave
Hi Joe, really nice strings here, did you play any of the instruments? Sounds really good anyway, better than the run of the mill covers we usually hear anyway! Nice work my friend.
Yea, yea, I love this...man this sounds so good to me.
