Description : Another collab work with maestro Tumbleweed is here. It's a bit special this time in multiple ways. I guess this is the very first time when I didn't use any of my usual instrumentation when collabs are in question. As you probably know I'm talking about strings and piano. No matter how you prick up your ears you won't find them here. Instead , you will be witnessing the bold move of mine, which was simply joining Ed in his otherwise "untouchable" teritory....playing guitars, Yes you got that right..:) By untouchable I mean his most high standards he sets with playing his tour de force instruments. I'm just a humble servant here, playing mostly melody lines (plus some embelishments) which I composed for this piece. It's also the first time when music comes very close to a dancing style of music....this time in classical spanish/latino fashion, but not exclusively...there will be always mixed ingredients when a naughty lad like me is on board. In spite of phletora of acoustic guitars this might sound pretty minimalistic and I hope it's for the better. My sincere and special thanks to Ed for letting me contribute this way on yet another exciting journey.

    How did I miss this?

This has all the flavorings I love about tasty morsels of music! The Latin flair prominent here, well executed guitar parts that are well mixed and by all means so is the track. Like I've mentioned before, you guys must be mentally connected in a musical sense as your collabs always seem to be bigger than the sum of the parts.

Thanks for sharing, gonna dl and fav!

Yes Wayne, this one has some obvious Spanish flavor. It is in some way special cause this time we were both guitar players although this role is usually exclusively reserved (and deservedly so) for master Ed, yet I tried to play some melody line acoustic guitar this time and this is the result. I'm really glad you like it and thank you so much for this positive feedback and the 'fav'!:)

This is a really beautiful collaboration. It's intricate, playful, bright and alluring. I feel like I'm sitting around a fire in the hills of southern spain at dusk. They're is drinking, dancing and a feeling that the night is so beautiful that it could go on forever. Unfortunately, the track does not, so I press the play button and the magic starts again :)

Hey, Orlando & Tumbleweed. Beautiful, beautiful piece of music. Very unexpected. Special. I am suitably impressed. I have only one quibble. I think that you have a bit too much reverb on the track. There is some really interesting guitar work going on behind the melody. Layers of it I think, but it is a bit hard to distinguish the threads running in the music because it blends together. It creates a very pleasing backdrop for sure, but I would be inclined to dial it back a bit so that all the detail can be heard more clearly. Just my preference, particularly with really fine musicianship, like you have shown on this track.

When shortcomings are in question,,,well...I just have to admit that I'm very sloppy on production tasks lately due to lack of time, so you may be we well right on all things you mentioned...will try to improve this when time permits.

YES, my two musical contemporaries, you have succeed again! This is superb, and yes it is dance music to me (In the classical term, as you mentioned). It makes me think of the hope emanating from a troubled and oppressed people, gypsies or others with long held beliefs, which are no longer accepted. Activity and interaction may be a little more sparse around this site recently, but I think that is made up for by many of the musical gems which come to light, such as this one. I am often just in awe of the major dedication and talent which arrives here. You and Ed make an excellent team, and this song shows exactly why. Amazing! Fave!

Thats pretty cool , I like spanish guitars a lot especially when it comes along with a pinch of oriental like this one. Transition to the full instrumental part at 0:43 could be a bit smoother to me but thats realy a minor thing. Great Work.

    Hi dear neighbour...:)

I know it's not real dance music, but it carries elements of it in classical terms of meaning, so I've chosen "dance" tag in a bit provocative manner to maybe naughtily startle the generational differences in classigying of music.

Anyways, thanks alot for your very positive and supportive response...and the fav!:) Was also twice in Lloret de Mar....maybe we meet one day on a sunny beach or in the shades of night siesta...:)

    Cheers and handshake______Orlando
