As others have mentioned, the musical parts and the voice compliment each other very pleasantly. The guitar must be fotisg, am I right? I seem to recognize the epic style. I would love to hear this if the compression/limiting was backed off a bit and the mix was allowed to shine by using the headroom more fully. When noticing the narrow look of the wave form, the track sounded a lot louder than I expected, and that is the only reason I mention it. Aside from that it is an excellent work, with great performances contained within. Thank you for sharing!

Dear friend, thank you very much! I apologize for the huge delay in my response. Various reasons, you understand.
I will fully agree with your observation, you are always very careful.Your remarks are correct. You are right, "somehow" escaped in the final mix, but now it is no longer possible to correct it. Thanks again! Yours sincerely, Chris

Fantastic work, I love the elements that build the emotions of this one. The Piano is perfectly subtle in the background aligning with the bass-line. The guitar solo is just sublime.

    Perfectly mixed
    great job

Im not into spoken word music but the voice is very warm and that makes a lot of difference. The music supporting it is amazing. Great piano work. With Minor2go you know you have some good quality. The Guitar part is awesome as well. Very smooth and you dont need to know the language to feel the emotion in it. Nice work guys!

Good evening my friend Ed! your words ringing in my ears pleasant and you think, you know I think, it is for me, for us very seriously!
the truth is that during my long absence from the site, we created some good and valuable work that others were to order, others because we had the inspiration but also because we made a good team of musicians and so there is the incentive of creation.
this piece is the second of a series of great poets set to music in Greek translation. soon you will hear our first song. I'm glad you liked it and will convey to our other members. thanks again!

It is considered low to talk about food.
The fact is: they have
Already eaten.

The lowly must leave this earth
Without having tasted
Any good meat.

For wondering where they come from and
Where they are going
The fine evenings find them
Too exhausted.

They have not yet seen
The mountains and the great sea
When their time is already up.

If the lowly do not
Think about what's low
They will never rise.

Meat has become unknown. Useless
The pouring out of the people's sweat.
The laurel groves have been
Lopped down.
From the chimneys of the arms factories
Rises smoke.

The forests still grow.
The fields still bear
The cities still stand.
The people still breathe.

Every month, every day
Lies open still. One of those days
Is going to be marked with a cross.

The merchants cry out for markets.
The unemployed were hungry. The employed
Are hungry now.
The hands that lay folded are busy again.
They are making shells.

Teach contentment.
Those for whom the contribution is destined
Demand sacrifice.
Those who eat their fill speak to the hungry
Of wonderful times to come.
Those who lead the country into the abyss
Call ruling too difficult
For ordinary men.

The common folk know
That war is coming.
When the leaders curse war
The mobilization order is already written out.

Are of different substance.
But their peace and their war
Are like wind and storm.

Look back to your forebears, look ahead to your children and their children, and that - that chain of generations - is your river - of life, of DNA, of blood. It's a potent metaphor for me and I keep trying to capture it in a song. What do you think of this one?
