Description : Update: Thanks to the great great help of Orlando51 the track now is in its final state. He made the piano and violins sound really good together withthe guitar. Big question is if this needs vocals or if it is good as it is right now. Please comment your thoughts about it. Thank you Orlando51 for helping me out. You have my sincere gratitude!

Good evening, listening to the song and reading the description, I would say that would not I put words to it. Already in itself is an acoustic, beautiful piece that I think is most likely to need a good balance of instruments in processing.
Very beautiful composition.Allow me to get on my file! Thank you!

Strings and the acoustic guitar are very nice together. It's a well written piece of music. Hat's off to Orlando for helping!

Although the instrumental is strong I feel it could benefit from adding some vox. The way it is written, it's structure and space you left allows for some vox to be added. Songs from the heart are always the best. The right words, random phrases and lyrics are sometimes hard to find but your head and heart seems to be in this one, give it a go!

Sounding Good Mudhoen, quite different than your other ones.
I love it, it's calm, smooth and easy to listen to.
You did well at translating your emotions into this fine piece of music.
Reminds me a bit of Japanese music (which i love by the way).
Well done and Stay Strong ;)

I honestly think this track already evokes many emotions as is and that vocals are not needed. However, the right vocals could be a beautiful touch, I just do no think they are absolutely necessary. It's just unfortunate the track is a product of such sad news but you did a great job of communicating your emotions through music. Stay strong

Thank you for your well founded opinion . The track really fits with my emotion and vocals might not be needed. Thought if someone could make some vocals to it I could put them together and take the best one. Also thank you for your kind words!

    Hey mate

First off know exactly what you are going through, sadly I did loose my father to cancer back in 2013, only actually knew he wasn't well approx. 6 weeks, so I send all my hope that your father pulls through for you, fingers crossed dude...Always hard trying to do tracks about this type of thing, I have done 2 trance tracks for my father which are on my profile, liking the guitar as is in this one, little variety would help but thinking that can happen after finding vocals for the mix, personally would add strings/pad to under lay the piece, to portray more feelings into the track, to get across the feelings of sadness if you want to go down that way??? or a pad to be uplifting with hope? Not sure what way you want to go with the piece, with adding the strings or pads, you could then have a break from the guitar and let the strings tell the story you want from piece...2 listens now...Thinking what have mentioned might help get more feelings into the piece...Peace n best of luck for you friend...Mosaic...

Thank you for your kind words. I am happy to hear that even a horrible decease can inspire us to make music. I guess it is a way to express the feeling that we have. I will try to experiment with a pad. I think you are right. It needs a bit more body and variation.

This is perfect for the theme of your description! Hm, my apologies, I mean sorry to hear the news, just know it'll be alright, he's in good hands for real. I dig what you're trying to do with this and I really can understand the connection of the situation. Music is a way of letting em know what matters. May I try something as well? I see others have tried and something strange happens haha, Battle! haha, I use FL as well but haven't even messed with this Nexus instrument so it should be fun. Thanks for sharing, Make some great memories til the end bro!

I think the guitar sounds to hard for a slow piece.
I've speeded it up and I reckon it sounds better rocking a bit more but I don't think that's what's wanted.

How old is your dad? I'm messing about with your track but I cannot for the life of me soften hat hard guitar so it's coming out a bit of a cross between Johnny Rotten and Jean Michel Jarre at the moment.

My dad is 64..I am 35 years old. I know it is not an easy song to play and vocals will be hard. thtat is why I put it on here. A lot of talented people in here may find a way to make something out of it. I have no problem with (small) changes of the song if necessary. I really appreciate that you have taken so much time and effort to help me. Respect!

I'm thinking the first thing this needs is a little base tone in there.
    It's obviously not lacking love.
Sorry to hear about your old man but really happy to hear he has someone like you around him.
Having a kid like you around him is seriously important.
You might be a fifty year old kid for all I know but it doesn't matter ... you're still his kid .... he's still your dad.
I have kids like you and grand kids too and feel so blessed.
From what you wrote you know you'll be saying goodbye to each other in time ... shorter time than you both would have liked but time is time .... make the most of it.
I hope these wonderful people offering to rally around and contribute to your piece at the very least put a smile on your faces.
I'm going to download it and have a play with it.
    Don't be expecting miracles.
I might even go for humour.
You might never hear anything simply because I wasn't happy with the result but I'll have a go.
Meanwhile ... tell your old man what you're doing ... what your putting out here and why even if you don't let him hear anything just yet.
He'll be over the moon honestly.
    Share stuff with him.
    You obviously love him.
So share ... laugh ... cry ... get fucking angry.
    Be with each other.
You won't regret it and he'll cherish you all the more.

Thank you very much for your kind and meaningful words. I moved to germany 5 years ago (from Holland). We are a pretty close family. My dad never had serious ilnesses and then something like this happens... Very frustrating. I really want to tell my father that im doing this for him. But the surprise would be even greater when it is fully done. I had always a good life with my parents and I want tgem to give something good back. Maybe next time I will tell him...

Very sad news, stay strong :( I dl'd this and have an idea, the final product is up to you... I'm going to record some acoustic guitar playing basically what you have (Dm to Am) I also dl'd an acapella that may work. I'll let you know shortly. I like the arrangement and the drums but think real acoustic may add something you can't capture with a vst. I'll share the files with you privately when I got something.

Description : Just an acoustic/piano piece I threw together a few nights ago when coming home from university. My brother and I were doing some acoustic music together in my room, just having fun; came out with this; I immediately got on my DAW and recorded it before I forgot how ti went lol. Hoping to get some strings on it soon as well as some vocals from the bro! :P In the meantime, enjoy this instrumental.

Description : This is an acoustic cover of the song "Come As You Are" by David Crowder. I recorded, mixed, and mastered this one in two days! Almost done burned me out haha! Hope you enjoy!

My older brother does the lead vocals and I do everything else, from instrumentation to harmonies. No vocal-editing whatsoever in this one. The guitars were all one-take recordings. Updated the audio - I added tambourine hits in the 2nd and 3rd choruses; just helps make for a more moving song.

Description : This is my attempt at the one-hour challenge for LM (finished at 57 min 48 sec). I had to mix/master on the go and this was the result. Some bad chords here and there that I did my best to conceal, one-takes on guitar and piano and used an awesome acapella from a1000times, who wrote the words that Dikaiko sang over. I really like her voice. Anyhoo yea, I like this one a lot so probably gonna come back to this in the near future. Comments welcome.

Description : I put this under acoustic even though I did use a couple midi tracks. I felt they sounded acoustic enough to put the track in that category. Suppose it could be chill out as well, however you want to label it, do so. I used an Indian flute and an electric guitar sounding plugin with some tremolo added along with acoustic guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Nothing too complicated here and I felt it sounded good enough to upload so enjoy!
