Description : I was messing with loops from Looperman and wanted to say thanks but I can't remember who made the loops ... sorry about that.I wanted to make a film but not having the traditional film making equipment thought I'd make one with no visuals. So when you watch this film you'll discover it's a mystery with a bad ending for everyone.

How many loops are there ? Quite a few I guess ! That's a great job setting all of them together like that. It fits and flows nicely.
Really like the progression and the variations you made to keep it interesting during the whole track.
Great groove at the end and nice way to finish the track.
    Nice one !

You've made me want to make something like this/ It is fantastic. I envision a trio or quartet of grungy good guys relentlessly marching (trudging, really) through a devastated world, looking for somebody to take to task for the rubble and carnage. I wish I had time to make a video for this. As it is, it has ruffled up a peaceful Pleasant Valley Sunday. Vic

Thank you very much. Always nice to know when you've inspired someone. I spent a long time on this simply because there was a mood being created that I didn't want to leave. My mind was like .... I'm making a film without a camera!

I love how this beat swaggers and chugs along picking up bits and bobs on its merry way. You say you don't really like hip hop but I can tell from this that you could definatly put together some nice hip hop instrumentals.

Where in north wales are you from by the way? I've quite a lot of family in Abergele. From Widnes myself.

Wow what an epic piece. It has everything...drama, explosions, suspense...well done. I can imagine how much work it took to get it all to fit. Hats off!

That bassline is pretty twisted and i like the way you built around it. There's some great noises going on throughout the piece with some nifty little vocal samples going on. Like the way the beat kicks in and then drops out again for the pads to come in. There's a real hotch potch of stuff going on here and you've blended it together really well.
    Well done.

    Thanx for listening.
I'm playing with rhythm and atmosphere on here and doing it by putting stuff together that normally you wouldn't.

I have listened with interest to this piece. very good elements, such as the rhythm from the subbass keeps the piece, smart vibes with contemporary music, and nice changes in musical tone.
    Very good inspiration!
    Chris!
To watch a little perky effects such as 3.27 (boom crash), 5.41 very good but perhaps possible in intensity, the same the tom drums in 7.00. The final part is very good!
With a little adjusting EQ will be OK!

Thanx Christk I like this one myself as it hit certain buttons for me.
The rhytm and the atmosphere is where the work was and I've gotten something I like but now need to get off my donkey and do something with it.

Greetings. This is some interesting and odd stuff.

0:24 the beat starts to get really cool and that's a tight groove. Has this been made with just loops or have you added any of your own playing or programming?

0:50 those little funky voices with some delay n them move about really well with that bass and continued cool groove.

I'd be happy to work on something like this as it's got some real character and vibe.

1:44 other chopped vocals become more prominent and it's now pretty trippy and hypnotic.

2:15 good drop of the bass and then very cool when it's brought back in.

You've already done enough in the first few mins for this to be a complete track. But, no, it continues, as do most of my mine (and for a lot longer than this one).

3:26 something crashes or explodes for some cinematic weirdness.

Much more to say about the second half of this but I'll see what your reply is like and then decide if I want to give some feedback on the rest of this.

Congrats on an excellent first upload.

    Thanx for your comments.
This one is purely loops from this site.
I've been messing about over ten years now with synths guitars drums loops vsts etc but not actually done anything for years.
    Now own no instruments.
Just picked up on looperman one night and started downloading loops and put that together.
I don't realy know what genre is what I'm afraid.
I have some stuff on reverbnation should you be interested ....

Very unique and interesting mix here Silverman.
Has sort of a theatrical feel to it which might explain the name. Good stuff man, keep it coming.

well silverman...thats quite some messing you did...and your musical ears are still working just fine mate (mine are all beat to shit)...good listening and looks & sounds to me like you know more that a little about production too..mix is hard limited but the dynamics seem to hold up well..neat idea the way you evolve it into a kind of polka beat thing in that last part (that hollering dude reminds me of somebody whose had a lot of the free booze at the wedding dance)....blowed up real good at the end too...great stuff....well done....keep on...Ed

i like the synthesized voices throughout. you do a lot with breaking up the beat, letting go of the kick now and then - that lets things breath. nice work! neat application of some interesting loops, especially in last third of track. look forward to hearing more! regards - Dan
