Description : This starts with a loop from psycotropiccirle called harp arp and then i used a loop by hamood called acoustic delay. I found some incredible cello multisamples, a nice break beat, played some piano....this one was a bit of a labor to get to here but I really wanted to use these sounds together. I'm not completely satisfied with the arrangement but I'm getting over it. Comments and critiques welcome.

Not quite sure what you're playing apart from the piano. Maybe the busy, funky little basssline?
Yes, guitar is beautifully played and recorded. I agree that it's the backbone of the track.
Drum break works well. Seems to stand up to being repeated many times.
By the time the beat kicks back in on 3:26, I think you're just repeating yourself. There's nothing new in the final two sections so the track could definitely be shorter. Just as well it's good stuff. Ultimately, have it as long as you like - I just offer my honest opinion.
Overall, a funky little acoustic track. Not sure what genre this is...
The percussion on this IS SICK. I love it. I love the mellow guitar. It add to the vibe I am having. Like your girl has just came to you after a romantic dinner to tell you she has been having an affair for months. But that is just my mind. I like the simple piano riff it just does just that for me. Nice track. I listened a couple days ago and I just wasnt able to comment
Thanks man
I appreciate your kind words
I'm glad you enjoy this one. The breakbeat is a loop I picked up on musicradar.com...they have a large selection of royalty free, free loops and samples and i find myself using alot of stuff from there. The guitar loop is from here (props to hamood).
Fire Path refers to a cycle of breathing in the chinese art of Qi Gong (pronounced chi kung). This natural breathing method is often used in combat and much like this track instills a feeling of tranquility and calm focus (cellos and guitar loop) combined with swift and powerful action (breakbeat).
I like fusion because you never know what it's going to be a fusion of. That guitar is sounding sweet and very cleanly recorded. Is that you or a loop? Nice sounding bass guitar and dig that breakbeat.
This is really good. I'm digging the blend of instruments here. Something a little bit different for this evening with a nice summertime vibe.

Thanks

The guitar is a loop from here by hamood called acoustic delay and yes I agree it is an exceptionally well recorded loop. Very inspiring and more or less the backbone for this entire track.I still am blown away by the cello samples too. there are alot of things about this track sonically that make it interesting for me.
Again thank you for your listen and your comments, I appreciate it.

Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.
Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.
After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
Description : A spoopy song, early for Halloween. This was a collaboration with Micky, who did most of the work.
A musical realization of a poem by Thomas Hardy
Idea: Spearcarrier
Voices: Spearcarrier & Micky
Music: Micky
Genre: We don't know yet. Suggestions welcome. LOL
Description : Real acoustic, electric and bass guitars played by me. Drums are loops and programmed MIDI. Played piano and synths. Lots of layers and delay. A gated moog, organ, my recorded finger-snaps and a reversed bass guitar effect that sounds like throat-singing. Three movements, divided by moments of calm. Thoughts and feedback are welcome.
Description : the rise of AI
this i would describe as hip-hop space rock, last night of the proms sort :))
its different, a fusion of genres, this is all played by me, no loops. got a little more music theory now, so put it to the test.
its my first attempt at writing something myself and hopefully show i can produce a bit too. i wanted all the instruments to have their place but to shine alone, let me know if you think i achieved my description.
Description : Return To Forever was a group that started my love of fusion jazz and this is my attempt to cover their 1976 track, “The Romantic Warrior. I know I wore out several inceptions of this album from LP, cassette and 8 track. The original track was over 10 minutes long, so I abridged it some. Hope you like and download.
Description : A moroccan traditional song from 70s titled "Toudart" which means "Life" in Moroccan berber/Tamazight, revived and composed in a modern way, I used minor2go's piano loop which you can hear on the background, everything elese is from me.
Description : Found some 70's funk drum loops that I liked and added some funk horn loops. Then I found some effects and percussion loops that worked well with the bass loops I found. Yeah, all loops but 1 vocal track of mine. :) Funk/fusion? Might be cool to have some hip hop styled vox on this, any takers?
