Alrite mate :)

Just wondering if anything more has happened with this track since spudsy got in touch??

Timmons2 replied 15th Nov 2012 - 13 years ago

I left him an e-mail a while back after he got in touch with me the first time. I haven't heard anything back yet. I'm pretty sure he's busy which I can definitly understand. I did, however, pitch this song to a couple of podcast stations and it's now playing in rotation. I might keep that up for a while and then I'll work my way into pitching it for TV, movies and other media. Thanks for checking in, I hope things are well on your end.

Spudsy 18th Aug 2012 12:15 - 14 years ago

Hiya bro.. Wongki brought this track to my attention and im really glad he did.

I would like to work with you on getting this up to a release worthy standard. and maybe after speaking to the artist herself try and arrange some sort of re-mix package for release.

Our last 3 tracks have all been played on 1xtra, kiss fm, choice etc...

If your interested give me a shout.

Killer track bro..

Timmons2 replied 18th Aug 2012 - 14 years ago

Thank you for your interest in this song. I appreciate any effort to take this song to the masses. I can communicate with you through e-mail. I can send you a message from here. Will be in touch with you very soon. Again, I thank you very much for your interest.

WongKiShoo 12th Aug 2012 20:16 - 14 years ago

Whoa..

Completely blown away by this. The drum work/percussion is outstanding and must have taken a lonnnng time to get just right. The track structure is fantastic,.. as are the vocals - some of the best I've heard on this site by a long way.

If you're looking to take this track further, I know a guy that might be able to hook you up.. And I'd also love to remix this track for you if you're interested, if not, no worries :)

Seriously, fantastic work.

Thanks again, Wongki, for your kind words. I did this record through the course of four days. I had one idea prior to what you hear now on how to approach the song. But then I ended up doing something with the use of a drumline, sort of what you would hear from a marching band. Every sound that you hear, was indeed done by me and the track structure as well. I had to think on how I could hear the record as though it was performed live on television. I would like to take this track further, so if you do know someone, I would greatly appreciate it. You can send me a message through here and it will come up on my e-mail. As far as remixing the record, you can find the acapella on her soundcloud page.

IM WITH SHORT BUS KILLED IT

ShortBusMusic 8th Aug 2012 07:45 - 14 years ago

Bro, I'm speechless.

This one is ready for prime time and should be playing on the radio. Kelly's voice is just spectacular, but when you combine her talents with your production genius, well, that's solid gold.

Seriously, this is top shelf material. I just hope someone comes along and helps you two take this one to the next level. Hey, when you get famous, I've got a bus you can use :)

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you again for your praise of the song. Kelly's voice was the true inspiration for the production of this record. I wanted to make sure that her voice didn't get tarnashed. I wanted to match up powerful drums with her powerful voice. Believe me, it wasn't easy. I just want to say thank you, sir. I just might call you one day for that bus!

Description : With this song, I wanted to challenge how we perceive darkness and the power we allow it to have over us. Rooted in Scripture, it's a reminder that evil is no equal to God, Christ's victory is absolute and darkness can never overcome the light.
