Description : I made this using Reason 4. All the Sounds are MIDI-based files so nothing is sampled or made from samples. The flute should give it the South American feel, while the dubstep drums takes it back to African House, especially influences from DJ Fresh and E

Description : I was given the opportunity to sit in and record two hours of 30+ Neo Hippie folk beating African drums up on Quadra Island. The farthest Northern Gulf Island in the Georgia Straight just outside of Campbell River, British Columbia. I had a blast and was even given the opportunity to join in and play a spare djembe B-)
When I say "Hippie" I mean no disrespect. I grew up a hippie kid from way back. My Dad was one of the original long haired, mega-bearded dudes from the late 50's/early 60's. In grade school the kids called me "Hippie Howard" which I loathed at the time but now I'm thinking it's a pretty cool handle :) "DJ Hippie Howard" lol

Description : This is percussion, I think. Anyways, named it coz it reminded me of that whole African Tribal dance type stuff. Inspired also by Ecko LTD, lol. Enjoy!
