    What is your favorite software for music editing and why?

    Audacity. Free, easy to use and gets the job done. Used to use Wavosaur too. Also freeware

    i like magix the most .its easy to uise and compatible with a lot of plug ins.it even comes with its own external editor.peace

    I use wavosuar to edit files and master songs and I use Audacity to convert to mp3.

    I am using adobe audition at the moment which seems to be good. Still need to figure it out properly yet but i wasnt using anything before this as ive only started producing a few months back.

    am with faketrix, i find audition has all that you need in a user friendly environment

    ive always been a strong supporter of sony's software. been using versions of soundforge and acid pro for a while.

    I would say Magix Music Maker 14 Producer edition,you don't need a degree in studio engineering to use it.Magix is actually the origial music editing software,everthing else came after!It accepts everthing ,haven't found a plugin that wont work with it.The original program was called Magix audio Studio Generation.
