this is just for fun. and to get the sharing community in some sort of common interest.
ok each one of u should quote a line from ur fav rapper or just any music u have heard, the name of the singer/rapper should be stated, and the particular track, and if possible the ulbum.
u can over post more than one coz i get he point that the lines keep coming so u can quote as many as u remember!!
I would drop one myself for now
artist: Busta Rhymes ft linkin park
track: we made it
line; " in case u misunderstanding exactly what i'm building S**T that i can leave for my children's (reverb children's children.)
reason, i just think it is a true meaning line for what he is doing, and plus, it kills me, for we are all more or less doing things in the present to satisfy the future.

"lyrics are weak like clock radio speakers"
the Gza the Genius liquid swords
assumption is the mother of all F***-ups.
"I am jacks total lack of suprise"
"never trust the unkown"
Okay I have spent a while thinking on this one, cause I listen to every kind of music and there are sooo many amazing songwriters. I can't do just one line of one song so I'm going to name a few:
The thought that god has taken sides on the path to breaking down
Disconnected but not alone, scream to the tune of the background noise ~ Entropy - VNV Nation
Just victims of the in-house drive-by... they say "jump", you say "how high"? ~ Bullet in the Head ~ Rage Against the Machine
Go back to sleep, safe from pain and truth and choice and other poison devils, see, they don't give a f*** about you, like I do. ~ Counting Bodies Like Sheep ~ A Perfect Circle
I found it VERY hard to narrow down to one line cause it takes the context of the song away in most cases. Those are just the three I could think of I wouldn't destroy too much by ripping a line out haha.
Damn, I was gonna post the same lyric that lelandchapman posted but I guess he beat me to it ( good pic my friend ). Well, this one right here always gets me thinkin' - Sages' spoken word is absolutely brilliant.
" Dark lenses, tint the windows that are on the inside of my eyelids."
Artist: Sage Francis
Album: 'Human The Death Dance'
J DOT ~ 2006
"This stress got me igniting the potent marijuana leaf, trying to play it cooler than a polar bear colony."
Black Thought(The Roots) - Stay Cool - The Tipping Point
"The world's gettin' stripped out of every resource, Some people pray to Coca-Cola now instead of their gods."
Black Thought(The Roots) - Why? - The Tipping Point
"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side."
Hunter S. Thompson
Peace Out!!MC
"Cut your strings and be free with me"
Puppet by Thousand Foot Krutch
Words of Wisdom-Lao Tze
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
Let that marinate in ya head LOL.
