I'm working in Acid Pro 6 and When I record through the mic input, I get the sounds from the other tracks in my recording. How can I make it so it doesn't do this?

Also, do VST Plugins work in Acid Pro 6?

sounds like you need to get yourself some headphones.

Make sure your speakers are switched off and listen to the track in your headphones and then use the mike

Sorry, I forgot to specify that I'm not actually using the mic itself, I hook my guitar to my amplifier then hook my amplifier to the line-in mic jack in the back of the computer (using a 1/4 in. to 1/8 in. cable adapter)
