Export it as a wave then use s converter to make an mp3 file. Use "Switch Sound File Converter." This converter has a free version. Download it here:

hello dustillhill.thx 4 tha quick reply. What do u mean by make sure there is * wav? when i choose export as an audio file it just shows a list of my sounds.
i see what u mean now.what br rate shall i choose?
Default is fine for this site. 44,100 hz and 16 bit.
anybody know how to do a drum roll on reason 4??
Well i was in the same boat as you mate when I first started... one thing i do is right click on one of the buttons in the redrum rack and click edit automation. That brings up a slot in the window where you make melodies and what-not. On the redrum you either select your specific drum .wav file or drum kit from the reason 4 presets you came with.
I dont use the yellow0 buttons on the redrum i just make mine on that screen i told you about.
I've very good at confusing people so let me know if that made sense lol

Just use the redrum buttons draw the snare for you long you like then use the flam function to speed up the last few snares.
