Maybe another CATEGORY GENRE would work well. Specifically URBAN.
Urban has become a bit of dirty word when used to describe music. Its being dropped by the music industry. Some are also describing it as racist.

I always considered it actual citified music set apart from rap & Hip-Hop... more musical.
Oh well... I just suggested it because I'm primarily a blues guy but many of my tunes are only marginally so.
