Hey, I work with GARAGEBAND and want to edit my vocals with another plugin from the software offered here.
How do I filter out the right software?
Which supplier fits GARAGEBAND?
Do I have to consider license fees?
Can you recommend something for testing?
Hi,
GarageBand works primarily with AU, so any plugin that's offered in AU format can be used in GarageBand. Usually every supplier will offer a plug-in in AU format. I'm not sure about the application of VST, I believe it may work with VST3.
There are a lot of free plug-ins out there, as well as the plug-ins that come with GarageBand. All the basic vocal editing you could need is already in GarageBand. You have EQ, dynamics, delay/reverb, etc.
MeldaProductions makes a free set of plug-ins in an AU format. Check them out here: https://www.meldaproduction.com/MFreeFXBundle
Thanks, I'll test it out.
