I've been composing for over 50 years, and finally decided to go over to the dark side and ventured into the Trap genre (this will most likely be my only trip, haha). Anyway, I started with a percussion line from Magix, and then expanded using my Ibanez bass, 2 Fender Strats, various synths, and in the end added two pad loops from Magix. If you like what I've done, feel free to add vocals, 808's, chop/slice/dice, anything you want is fine with me. I would love to see/hear what you do with it.

You will hear a definite Ennio Morricone influence (I know, bizarre but I think it works). The tempo is 75bpm and it basically only uses 3 chords throughout. I've left you tons of headroom on the stems so you can really jack the volume if you want. You will see on the mp3 I've posted the volume is way down from what it could be. You can download the stems here:

You can hear my original here:

Again, this was an enjoyable experiment, but like most things, Trap is probably best left to the professionals. Thanks for giving it a listen.
