I'm just curious: When you're listening to various loops published here on LOOPERMAN, do you typically listen to them over room speakers/monitors, or do you usually wear headphones/earbuds?
There is no right or wrong answer here, I'm just curious.
I listen on some Mini Akai RPM3 Monitor speakers, then If i download a loop - I'll work on it and when mixing and mastering it i'll use Audio technica mx40 studio headphones as a reference to getting the mix right alongside my monitors. Sometimes I have to compromise between the two to get a final version i'm happy with overall, or i'll try it on my TV, gaming headphones and my car to see what I think is best for the song.
