I come upon so many amazing producers on this site. Is there a way to favorite or friend them--or keep them in some sort of list for referencing?

The best way to do it at the moment is to "Fav" a track (clicking the heart icon on someone else' track). You can then access all your Favs by going:
My Profile > Tracks > My Favs
If you want to keep tabs on certain songs or people than only fav those songs/people.
I suggested this several years ago and everyone blew a gasket. I think its a great idea to easily connect with collaborators all while still using this site.
People have suggested this before and after me and it's always met with the same resistance. So good luck with your suggestion and keep making music!

a version of this has been put into place in the new version im working on. Its not been built to end up in a popularity contest though, just a simpler way to follow users you are interested in.
