You want something that sounds different from everyone else. Appeal to as many crowds as possible and talk about things everyone experiences. Then find some unique instrumentals that compliment what you're trying to say.

Arms mixtapes (I still have my old tapes) from back in the day. I would just flow over them until I found my pocket and also listen to other great rappers too start with your favorites.

- listen to the goats both old school and new school and really focus on how they rapping
