Make sure to read the requirements before you download. Most require the full version of Kontakt (5.4.2 or higher). Some support the free Kontakt Player but with limited functions. Most are hits, some are misses, but what do you have to lose. Good luck, and have fun :)

Spd2 : Sat 11th Jun 2016 : 2 years ago Glad I could help brother. It's like going on a treasure hunt for me, there are so many valuable music production tools hiding in the cracks. I found some really cool Fairlight CMI samples (royalty free) and I plan to create an instrument for Kontakt. Took a while to find it, but it was worth the time and effort. Have fun using these goodies :)

    2ndMOUSE : Thu 16th Mar 2017 : 1 year ago Cheers Spd2 for the Fairlight links.
Im not sure how contemporary Art of Noise samples will sound in todays sonic palette anymore, but i'll download it anyway and give it a go. It amazes me that the basic version of the Fairlight CMI cost £32,000 in the 80s and now we can download its sounds for free.
It was the same with EMU who made the emulator sampling synths that depeche mode used. They made their proteus x synth free, and I thought " oh man this is awesome", but was surprised to find it was useless and really buggy.

    Anyway, cheers for these.
I got the leisureland mellotron a few weeks ago, and they sound awesome too.

SoleilxLune : Thu 16th Mar 2017 : 1 year ago Old thread I guess... but here's my two cents: Embertone Arcane. Free 100%

I recommend to download the update too 'cause the original Arcane is like a game (for real, a game in Kontakt). The update let you use it as a normal instrument.
