    Hello, everyone! I've wanted to make a song about zombies for a while now and I finally did.

    Long story short, I thought it might be fun for some of you guys to take a stab at remixing the song!

    The track is called Zombies because I'm not feeling very creative today.

    Original song:

    Stems:

    Let me know if you're interested in remixing.
    I can't wait to hear what you guys come up with.

    :)

    I just realized that I included one sample twice instead of the one I meant to include.

    Here is the file I meant to include in the pack:

    So does nobody care to do this?
    Because, if not, I'm just going to release the original on my soundcloud.

    @Rolark
    Sounds good!
    I'm not entirely sure.
    I usually just go by ear.

    I forgot to ask, is there a deadline?

    @asidRn
    Cool. Keep me updated!

    @Rileymicheal
    There's not really a deadline.
    It'd be nice to have it in a week or two, but that's not necessary.

    I just released a bunch of music and I'm not feeling too much pressure to put anything else out for a little while.

    hey sorry @siknoiz, but I don't think I can remix this, there just really isn't enough there for me to do anything with. If I were to just remix this it would basically just turn into an original, so I'm sorry but I don't think I can remix this :(

    siknoiz usually when I do a remix I'm pretty brutal about it. I dont even know if it could still be called a remix.

    I basically completely bend the song to my will :/

    I think I'm up to do a 'proper' remix for the first time.

    What are the rules?

    Can I change the musical arrange?
    Can I use my own sounds if I dont change the arrange?
    Can I change the format of the song?
    Can I add instruments to give it a chord progression?

    Or simply am I to grab the stems, assemble it as in the original, and mix it my own way?

    Most of your noises were on D#-minor along with your main synth, but I transposed them to E-minor, so I can midi it easier from my keyboard.

    All is set and just waiting for you to answer my questions.

    @Rolark
    No worries, man.

    @Cybertooth
    Sounds good.
    Let me know if you do get something done.

    @asidRn
    No rush.

    @Zergmazter
    (Can I change the musical arrange?) Yes, but not too drastically.

    (Can I use my own sounds if I dont change the arrange?)
    Absolutely.

    (Can I change the format of the song?)
    If by format you mean the timeframes in which it's laid out, then of course.

    (Can I add instruments to give it a chord progression?)
    Yes.

    Basically, be as creative as you want while still keeping certain parts of the song noticeable.
    (i.e. "They're coming for you, Barbara!")

    Also, thanks! I'm not really good with determining what key something is in. I usually just go by ear. I've always done music that way.

    Let me know if you get something made! :)

    Also, nobody bother with the coverart I posted here.
    I'm going to make something with everyone's name that remixes the song on it.

    Here is the link:

    This is just my first blob of ideas, so dont be quick to judge. Now I gotta cut out the uneeded, finish the arrange, then finally mix.

    I added some effects as reference points for myself when I begin mixing. Nothing special nothing done, muddy, etc...
