Please will you please me and listen to my ditty
some say they like it it and others say its shitty
i've been up all night playing with myself
strumming my guitar like johny b good

Some people say i can play like ringing a bell
but i say bollocks what the hell
there's no vocals to this tune
so give it a listen and chill my prune.

I'm not sure that last line works!!! ideas :-)

Heres some more poetry for lost souls :P

    I saw my abdomen shriveled.
    I saw others abject.
I had accounts presented to me for payment.
I saw a small ape cling to a tree.
    I saw a fallen arch.
    I unwillingly rode one.
    I went swimming with others.
    I was blindfolded.
I rode in a cab at night.
    I carved a fowl.
I heard a scream or the mewing of a cat.
    I entered a chapel.
    I gave charity.
    I drank claret.
I saw the corpse of an animal.

Dark Poetry hour? Here's a preview of the lyrics to my newest gothic tune about some lost souls :p

In vain with endearments do we soothe the saddened heart
In vain do we vow for an age to be true
The chance of an hour do chance us do part
or death disunite us tearing us apart

Still hope, breathing peace through grief swollen breast
Will whisper our meeting in eternal rest
With this dream of deciet, half our sorrows represt
Nor shall we taste of the poison of love's final breath

How he envies the wretch with a soul wrapped in steel
His pleasures are scarce yet his troubles are few
Who laughs at the pang he hast never to feel
And dreads not the the anguish of loves last appeal

The roses of love glad the garden of life
through nutured mid weeds dropping pestilent dew
til time crops the leaves with an unmerciful knife
or prunes them forever in loves last adieu

In my deepest despair, darkest of hate
her voice adrift upon the cool of the night air
aeturnus awaits don't deny tour fate
come to me let your troubles abate

edited by myself for use in my song "Aeturnus", from the poem "Love's Last Adieu" by George Gordon Scott, public domain poetry
Not all lines need to rhyme... enjoy :p
