Discuss anything regarding sampling and loop making. How to make a loop, where did a sample come from, copyright issues, whats legal and whats not
Hello Lopperman Fam,
I have a couple of 1960's songs I want to sample on an instrumental I want to create. I was wondering if anyone knew how to extract the vocals from the music? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
I asked Google, and this came up: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Vocal_Removal_Plugins.
If you're a Windows guy, I read something on Gearslutz about a guy who used Elevayta's Extra Boy (http://www.elevayta.com/product13.htm) and got some good results. If you're a Mac guy though (or if you don't like to spend your money very much), try Brainworx's bx_solo (www.brainworx-music.de/en/plugins/bx_solo).
You could also try your luck at a karaoke website; I'm not too familiar with any though.
I definitely appreciate the response. I'm going to try these out and I'll post the results. Thanks.
You're welcome. Thanks for giving a listen to my track earlier!
I was just happy it was really good and I didn't waste the time. Good job.
That's cool. I'm really happy to hear that because I put a lot of effort into the track.
