Back again after another festival. This time I was working at Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival 2014

    www.mostlyjazz.co.uk

Another amazing weekend of music and madness with the likes of Ginger Baker, The Family Stone, Mavis Staples, Fun Lovin Criminals, Courtney Pine to name but a few.

Anyone who has not seen the ginger baker movie should take a look.

Anyway, been back a few days now and working through the backlog of emails and uploads.

Great opening scene! I shall watch the whole thing later.
Fun loving criminals are excellent. I am jealous of that.
I saw the title of the thread and i thought it was going to be a story about how you got wasted and ended up doing something daft like my mate who woke up one morning in finsbury park after a night out. He said he just woke up and there was a bunch of guys cutting the trees. Since he was working as a tree surgeon at the time he thought he was at work and went over to help. He said he was working for a good hour before he realized that the guy he'd been talking shit to for an hour wasn't his mate. That kids, is why you shouldn't take drugs.
But anyway, back on topic i just watched the mostly jazz video looks like it was a goodun. I've been missing out this year so far HMPH!

It was the Ginger Baker Jazz Confusion so no Cream songs.

Check out the documentary, its really is worth watching.

As you'll see he's not the most chatty kind of guy and not one to ask for an autograph or get on the wrong side of. He is though a truly amazing drummer and a force to be reckoned with.

The road to truly understand "TIME" is not to see Time, but to be Time...
Live it, Ride it, Eat Sleep and Sh*****T it, then you will understand it...
If you look at the History of Mankind, we don't get it because we keep
doing the same things over and over again...We are stuck looking at Time
instead of being one with Time...
All the information that has been past down, to us and we have Learned
    Nothing...
Funny thing is We... Our bodies are designed, to live for an X amount of Time
and we fight it, to try and live longer...But Time wins every time....
And there is nothing we can do about it...I think in the End Ginger understood
what he knew all along...and so did those of that Time of like minded
    Musical MEN...
