Don't be shy if you don't have much!
Come on! Show us your studios!
lol, nice! eheh. Unfortunately I can't show mine, cause it's still going to be "created" lol. I just moved out to another city.. so yeah. Still have all ma stuff packaged. Except my computer of course :P, but yeah.. whenever I have the change I might put up some photos of ma "studio" up here too ahah ;)
Eitherways.. it's funny how nowadays, due to all the new technology and drastical changes in time, pretty much everyone interested enough in music can have their own "home studios" lol
Okay people have always wondered the secret behind my studio gear I use....

I will take some pics of our main studio next time I'm there :)
Can I give you a tip Spudsy? All those shortcuts on your desktop will slow it down. Having said that, studio looks lovely and cosy.
Yeah i keep getting told but im a lazy beeyatch, lol.
Although tbh i have run some epicly high track counts and it hasn't got close to slowing down yet :D
Some nice studios in this thread!
I got some pictures.

Spivkurl, I want to hear your modular! Is it totally DIY or was it a kit? But holy crap man, you need to dust your studio!
the live setup I got going on with my buddy right now. we're playing my buddy's housewarming party tonight, should be fun.

LOL, a cheap Yamaha keyboard. My first keyboard was a cheap Yamaha keyboard. I guess it's just used for piano?
I just use it as a MIDI controller.

ive simplified, focused my life lately
I use my yamaha psr sometimes, it has good rompler and SFX!
Interesting note... If you plug a 1/4" jack into the sustain jack, it will continuously sustain the sound giving it an almost reverb effect.
Yeah, the modular was totally DIY. I didn't mark some of the controls on the newer modules thinking I'd be able to remember what they did, so it's a little confusing to use... lol! Yeah I know my studio is dusty, I'm crazy if that helps!
I'm working on a new track that uses the modular, so you'll be able to hear it! I'll link to it in this thread when it's done!
How do you MAKE a modular synthesizer... That is something I would be interested in doing....
Well, I just went with pre-built Eurorack modules, but there are plenty of DIY module kits out there.
i feel so out of place when it comes to this kind of discussion, cuase i got my computer and my mind, thats it. i wanna get a keyboard and a small board, but havnt got to it yet.
@mixed, A lot of us started that way... but soon enough you will have downloaded so many VST instruments you will long for the real thing. On that day, you can ask for advice on the best synth for your sound within your budget.
Maybe I will look into getting one of those kits.....
all i have is a maudio 49keystudio midi piano and pc running flstudios, damn i feel ashamed hah look at all the gears yous have,
Nice thread, nice pics! :)

Nothing really special but it does it's job ;)
Next to the "control room" is the vocal booth + condenser mic.
