You Can Now Upload Loops As Aiff Files Aka Apple Loops

    Since the new version of the site was launched I set it so that the only type of loop you could upload was a wav file. The only reason for this was that it was quicker to code it that way.

    Anyway, today I had a bit of time so expanded the form to also allow you to upload apple loops. By that I mean loops saved in aif format.

    Ill write up a post in the blog about the advantages of aif files / apple loops but in short its simply another audio file format but one that can store useful information that certain DAWs can read. Things such as bpm.

    Ill update the forms to reflect the updates and also add an extra section to the search functions to allow you to specify the type of files you want.

    This is great! Aiff is the equivalent of Wav. Apple loops are the one that carry the tempo info.
