please only post tutorials that you have written yourself in here. Dont ask question on how to do things. Share your insight , tips and tricks etc.

This forum contains a set of threads that try and investigate and educate on different genres of music. Posts here should give examples of artists within this genre as well as information on the history and sub genres

Discuss all things related to audio software such as Acid, Cubase, Reason, GarageBand, Wavelab, Soundforge, Fruity Loops, Traktor, Ableton Live etc

Discuss all things hardware such as studio gear, intruments, sound cards, grooveboxs. Recomended setups, problems, advice

Do you use your ipad, iphone, smartphone, tablet pc or android device to create music ? Recommend the best apps, discuss different devices or ideas for using this new technology to make music.

Discuss anything to with computer problems, best set-ups, computer hardware problems and recommendations etc. Mac, Pc, Unix or whatever is your flavour.

A place to talk about all those cool vsti and directx plugins and fx

Discuss anything related to writing and arranging music, singing, playing instruments, music theory, styles or techniques. This is not about software, hardware, mixing or mastering issues.

Youve created a track but how do you give it that polished edge ? Discuss the art of mixing and mastering and swap production techniques.

Discuss everything involved in playing live gigs, concerts, performances and touring. From hardware to techniques, problems, advice, recommendations or tales of the road.

Discuss ideas on how you promote your work and how you network. DO NOT post ads or links to your Facebook, Myspace or whatever page in here. Those threads will be deleted

Discuss anything related to the business side of things. getting signed, starting your own label, contracts, distributing your music, licensing tracks, getting paid for gigs etc

Show off your latest tunes and get some feedback from other members. No more then one post here per week and make sure you leave a link to your track page in your post and say a little about your track.

Posts that dont include a link AND give some information about the track are considered spam and will be removed as will posts relating to your tracks on other sites.

Did you create a video to go with your tune or are looking for music to go with your video. Post some info in here

Discuss anything regarding sampling and loop making. How to make a loop, where did a sample come from, copyright issues, whats legal and whats not

Allow other members to remix your tracks by posting a link to your source files and stems.

If you have uploaded loops or acapellas then let us know here.

If your going crazy trying to find a certain loop or sound and have drawn a blank then try your luck here. Maybe someone will make it for you

If you used some loops or an acapella from this site for anything other then a track then it would be great to hear about it. Please post your links to any videos, games, websites etc and say which files you used. This is not compulsory but its always nice to know how things get used.

Do you know of a competition being run somewhere that other members may be interested in ? Post the details here. Please DONT start threads begging for people to vote for you though. Instead just announce the competition along with details. You can always post a link to your entry later in the thread. Begging posts will be deleted.

Tired of making tracks by yourself and looking for someone to collaborate with ? Post your offers or requests in here. No more than one post per week allowed.

Wanna find out how to mix or feel like passing on some hot tips this is the place for you. Find out about the latest decks or fx or just have a chat about your favourite tunes.

Turn each other on to your current favourite tunes or artists or discover something new yourself right here. Talk about styles of music , established artists and tracks, albums etc

Confused about how looperman works or not sure how to do something regarding the site ask here. Do not report bugs or make suggestions here though.

Remember to read the faq and the terms page first though as most things have already been answered.

Have an idea on how we could improve the site let us know here. Please take a look at the ideas already submitted first though so that we dont end up with duplicate threads.

If you have found a bug or a page that does not work then let us know what's going wrong for you and we'll work a bit of magic.

If you have something to complain about or maybe something to say thanks about then you can do so in here. Please avoid unnecessary moodiness or negative vibes. It would be great to see the raves outweighing the rants :-)

This area is for posts that have nothing really to do with music or looperman. Its where the posts that are too general for general messages go. A place for a bit of fun but not for random chat
