Description : Here's a lil somethin that I wrote on-the-fly while reviewin/listenin to ConeyIslandRecord's Untitled Instrumental 9. Decided that I'd finally pick up the mic again today (plugged it into my amp to get more juice than normal- to explain it's sharpness). Hope yall enjoy!
Description : Sup yall,
Just spent the past few hours recordin this baby to a track by ConeyIslandRecords. I've posted the full rough draft version to my Soundclick.com page if anyone wants to check it out.
One thing I'm gonna point out is that there's a large silent gap at the beginning because I left it there for the first guy's verse in the original (coz I'm thinkin that Coney could tweek the track some on his end for better sound qual).
So to kill that silent part just fast forward like a minute and a half (or somewhere near there). Cool deal? Cool!
Well all, I hope yall dig my latest creation. Later on!
PS. If you don't have anything constructive to say
don't say anything at all, okay?
PPS. If you don't have...
A.) An avatar,
B.) Any tracks, loops, acapellas, or links posted-
Don't say anything either because I'm not looking for useless comments from the Peanut Gallery, skrait? Skrait! Lates!
Description : Haha, I recorded it at the default tempo again, faulkers!
Anyways, this is just what's been on my mind lately. Or should I say, this is what came out (yall know me, Mr. Thinks-too-much).
Description : So yeah, I dunno if this is R&B or more Popish, but BenMason asked for someone to sing on his latest creation with SlapJohnson. I checked it out and threw out some possible verses for it in his thread about it. Then AnomalyJ came in and added some more.
I decided I could whip somethin up to serve as a template for the song since it's currently about half finished. First I went and edited the lyrics- added a short chorus and modified AJs verses a little. Lyrically, I'd say that it's about a third or half of the way finished (dunno how long they others were wanting to make this).
After that I spent the past 30 minutes or so (approx) recording and mixing this. I didn't get too crazy with the effects. Just added two channels- one with a Filter and another with Flanger. To give it a kind of spaced out feel.
Description : Someone said they were doing a remake of Mark Ronson's song and since I had the album I decided to try my hand at it. I should note that I'm not really a singer and I also did this in the Karaoke style. So there are large silent gaps between my singing this, but I did it exactly the way Mark sang it. Alright yall, I'm headin off of here. Lates!
Description : Wrote this a couple months back n I decided that it was fine as is so I recorded it with 2 layers. The rap part and the hypeman backing vocals. I think that part was inspired by the other night at work where I kept recallin that old vid of the guy rappin named Average Homeboy. Namely the part of the song where he throws that out there, aw man, it had me cryin with laughter. Hope yall dig this. Lates!
Description : This is a kinda love lyric that I wrote years ago. In checkin all of 'em out again this mornin I started readin this one and thought that it'd make for a good Spoken Word ballad. Since there aren't too many of those out there.
To me this represents what it's like when ya gotta friend that's began to mean more to you then just that and what it'd be like to finally tell 'em.
Ok, honestly, this was about one particular lady friend of mine, but this story don't have a happy ending. Dunno why, but it just never panned out.
Anywho, yall should also make notice at how this is the first time I ever rap with hooks and a chorus section.
Unfortunately, I'm gonna haveta re-record the other one that I did because it came out soundin all jacked up with too much hum in the background again. F***in A, man! Well, I hope yall dig this. Later on!
Description : Hahaha, oh man, I've done it this time. This is flippin crazy. I just spent like the last 30 minutes or so just comin up with this from scatch. Wasn't prewritten, wasn't preplanned, nada. Everything was just me shootin from the hip. The main chorus (I guess) was inspired by the first Ace Ventura movie. So check this out, leave me some commentation love (bad or good), and do with it whatever you like. Later on yall!
Description : Alright yall as I mentioned earlier in the forums I'd be postin some Acapellas. Then I got to thinkin that maybe it'd be easier to just to a whole song and throw it up for yall to mess with. I was orig gonna do 4 verses, but I started getting tired near the end, (yawn). Anywho, it's been a busy day and I think this about wraps things up for my music stuff for now. As always, I look forward to all of your thoughts and to maybe hearin some of the stuff yall do. PV/TC everyone!
